Extract from the Call: By Resolution No. CGC/2024/3216 dated: 04/19/2024 issued by the First Vice President and Government Counselor of Public Works and Infrastructure, Architecture and Housing, the call and regulatory bases for the granting of the Sculpture Design Awards in commemoration of women victims of gender violence are approved. Object: The object is the Call for a Sculpture Design Contest that represents the fight against gender violence and commemorates the victims, as a measure of social awareness and as a symbol of the strength of women in the face of these situations of inequality. The procedure is competitive and guarantees anonymity at all times. Regulatory bases: General Subsidies Ordinance of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria. Amount of the Call: The awards announced have a legal subsidy nature and amount to a total of €30,000, which will be financed from budget application 03011/236/481000124 “Commemorative sculpture awards for Women victims of gender violence.” Three prizes are established: 1st of €20,000, 2nd of €7,000 and 3rd of €3,000, which will be decided by a Jury. Beneficiaries: Any professional artist, of legal age, with full legal capacity and capacity to act, who must also have the capacity to be a beneficiary of public subsidies as established in articles 11 and 13 of the LGS and Base 6ª.1 of the OGS, may participate in the call; as well as having adequate means, resources and technical capacity to carry out the sculpture. Participation may be individual or in a group. Deadline for submitting applications: THREE MONTHS counting from the day following the publication of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Las Palmas.
