BNDS (Identifier): In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b) and 20.8.a) of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans) and in this Official Gazette of the Board from Andalusia. First: Call The granting of subsidies is called for the 2024 financial year, under a competitive aid regime to promote the digitalization of the control of urban water uses in supply networks of municipalities with less than 20,000 inhabitants within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan. Second: Beneficiaries City councils, autonomous local entities, and legal entities that are operators, in any type of modality in accordance with the provisions of the applicable regulations, of supply services in one or more municipal areas, both in the case of the provision of said services under direct management, with express inclusion of public consortia and any other public law corporation related to the management of the water cycle, and in the case of the provision of said services under indirect management, through the different forms provided. in the applicable regulations, with a legal population of less than 20,000 inhabitants as of January 1, 2022 in the territorial scope of the Autonomous Community of Andalusia, and that present projects that promote the improvement of the digitalization of the urban water cycle of the supply systems in those municipalities, in the territorial scope of the Autonomous Community of Andalusia, in accordance with section 4. a) of the summary table of the regulatory bases of November 30, 2023. Third: Purpose Aid for investment projects for the digitalization of supply systems to improve efficiency, allowing early detection of leaks, breaks and leaks in networks of municipalities with less than 20,000 inhabitants in Andalusia. Actions of 2 types are contemplated: - Type A: Specific interventions to improve the efficiency and digitalization of the urban water cycle: - A.1 Actions to improve efficiency and digitalization focused on water collection infrastructure or delivery points for public use and, in particular, on direct collections to the public hydraulic domain, both surface and underground. - A.2 Actions to improve efficiency and digitalization on any element of the supply system, including distribution networks, connections of public interest that affect a plurality of users, which together promote remote management and remote reading of the system. The two types of actions may be complemented with the structural actions necessary for the implementation of the planned efficiency improvement actions, including repairs and technical improvements in the supply systems, which allow, among other actions, the increase in treated volumes, the reduction of losses, the correct sensorization of the aforementioned elements, as well as all the communications tools necessary for their development, and in particular, those intended for the implementation of Internet of Things (IoT) information technologies. - Type B: Development/updating or improvement of information platforms or systems and digital tools in relation to the treatment, reuse of data obtained from type A actions and the enhancement of all the information generated in a way that allows better internal management of the urban water cycle and promotes transparency in the management of the urban water cycle in the territorial scope of the project, promoting the improvement of efficiency, the increase in treated volumes, the reduction of water losses, the improvement in the management of water infrastructure. treatment, all of this also for ordinary situations such as for the management of systems in episodes of precipitation, promoting the advancement of management towards intelligent management of the urban area of the project (Smart city) and the cybersecurity of any of the existing management systems or those that are going to be developed within the framework of the projects included in the e
