Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries: Students who study in the second cycle of Early Childhood Education, Primary Education and Compulsory Secondary Education during the 2024/2025 academic year in centers supported by public funds and are located in the municipality of Valladolid, meet the requirements set out in these bases and have submitted a scholarship application under them; Both applicants and beneficiary students must be registered in the municipality of Valladolid on the date of submission of the application and throughout the school year. Second. Purpose: Provide a financial benefit of 60 euros per student (maximum 240 euros per family), for the acquisition of school supplies, in order to improve the unfavorable socioeconomic needs of its beneficiaries and facilitate this population's access to education on equal terms. Third. Regulatory Bases: The regulatory bases of the call are published on the electronic headquarters of the Valladolid city council (https://www.valladolid.gob.es/es/tablon-oficial/ayuntamiento-valladolid/ayudas-subvenciones) Fourth. Amount: Total amount: budgetary credit for a maximum global amount of 60,000 euros. Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications: The deadline for submitting applications will be from June 10, 2024 to June 28, 2024, both inclusive. Requests will be directed to the Hon. Mr. Mayor-President of the Valladolid City Council and will be presented preferably through the electronic registry of the Electronic Headquarters of the Valladolid City Council. For those applicants who cannot submit their applications electronically, they may present it in the General Registry of the City Council or in any of the forms established in article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations, formalizing it in the official model that is attached to the call. Sixth. Justification of the scholarships: In accordance with the provisions of article 30.7 of Law 38/2003, General Subsidies, subsidies that are granted in response to the occurrence of a certain situation in the recipient, in this case families with fewer economic resources, will not require any other justification than the accreditation by any means admissible in law of said situation prior to the granting, without prejudice to the controls that could be established to verify its existence. To this end, the scholarships awarded under this call will be understood to be justified with the presentation of the necessary documentation for processing in the terms established in this call. It will not be necessary to present invoices proving the destination of the aid received; However, this City Council reserves the right to carry out controls after the granting of the scholarships, on compliance with the obligations provided for in this call, which may involve the initiation of reimbursement proceedings in the event of non-compliance with these obligations. Seventh. Other information: Since the budget of the call is limited to €60,000, if the number of aid applications that meet all the requirements and have provided the required documentation is greater, they will be classified in order of presentation. The call will be resolved taking into account the date and time of submission of the application in the general registry of the City Council or in the public registry that has been chosen as established in article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, on Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations, with priority given to the first in time, until the budget credit is exhausted.
