CALL FOR SUBSIDIES THROUGH COMPETITIVE COMPETITION TO CITY COUNCIL OF THIS PROVINCE, AIMED FOR WORKS TO IMPROVE RURAL ROADS. - FINANCIAL YEAR 2024.- BDNS: 761951 First: Beneficiaries.- – City councils with a population of less than 20,000 inhabitants in the province of Palencia. Second: Object.- – Granting of subsidies to promote and incentivize actions to improve Rural Roads dependent on the municipalities of the province. – This subsidy is included within the measures to achieve Goal 2.A “Increase in investments in agriculture” of the Sustainable Development Goals. Third: Eligible actions.- – Specific repairs on roads, including these, cleaning of soft spots, ruts and areas of water accumulation, with extraction of base material and contribution of new granular material, which does not exceed a maximum length of 5% of the total road. – Extensive improvement actions, consisting of grading and re-profiling of the road surface with a motor grader or Bulldozer, irrigation, compaction of the road surface and review of ditches. – Cross drainage works (pipes or water passage). – Eligible expenses will be considered those that undoubtedly respond to the nature of the subsidized activity. Taxes will be an eligible expense when the beneficiary of the subsidy actually pays them. In no case is VAT considered an eligible expense when it is deductible for the beneficiary of the subsidy. – Non-eligible actions: • Those whose pavement is made of concrete or bituminous materials. • Those who are in the process of studying or executing land concentration projects, reconcentration or infrastructure investment programs unless there is no forecast for their execution in the next two years, for which they will have a favorable report from the promoting administration. Fourth: Amount.- – The total credit for this call is €300,000.00, in no case will the amount granted be greater than 60% of the budget approved and executed according to the descriptive sheet, with the maximum requested budget per action being €15,000.00. Fifth: Deadline for submitting applications.- – One month from the day following the day of publication of the Call in the OFFICIAL BULLETIN OF THE PROVINCE, extending said deadline until the first following business day, when the last day is a Saturday or holiday. _Sixth: – The annexes and other documentation corresponding to this call will be available to interested parties at the electronic headquarters of the Provincial Council of Palencia https://sedeelectronica.dip-palencia.es/siac/Procedimientos.aspx.
