Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries. Natural or legal persons, holders of an economic activity in the municipality of Ontinyent, who meet the requirements established in point 2 of the call, at the time of the application, may apply for this aid. Second. Object. The purpose of the call is the granting of subsidies for the financial year 2024, intended to finance the costs of renting warehouses and premises for carrying out economic activities in the municipality of Ontinyent, in order to encourage the implementation of new business activities and the opening of new commercial establishments and services that contribute to the economic and social revitalization of the city and make Ontinyent an economic reference point and commercial attraction. This aid is intended to encourage the occupation of empty premises in the urban area, both through the implementation of new activities in unoccupied spaces, and the continuity of pre-existing activities with new owners to avoid the closure and proliferation of empty premises, which have a negative impact on the commercial image of the city. Likewise, it is also intended to boost business activity in the city's industrial estates, helping new entrepreneurs who start an activity by co-financing rental costs during the initial phase of the company's operation. Third. Regulatory bases. The ordinance on the regulatory bases for aid for the rental of premises and warehouses for the exercise of economic activities is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Valencia no. 90 of 05/11/2023 with the modifications approved by the Plenary Session of the City Council in a session held on 02/23/2023. Financing The granting of the aid provided for in this call will be financed from budget application number 15000-43300-47900: AJUDES ARREND.LOCALS COMERCIALS I NAUS IN. of the 2024 municipal budget, which is endowed with an amount of 5,000.00 euros.
