Official description of the call
1. PARTICIPANTS: All artists who wish to participate may participate, regardless of age range, as long as they are original and unpublished. It is the responsibility of those who submit to the contest for any claim that may arise in relation to their authorship and possible plagiarism. The winner of the previous edition will not be able to participate. 2. DEADLINES: The delivery period will be from the first publication of the rules and until July 19, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. The works may be presented in person at the Delegation of Culture and Festivals of the Excmo. Bormujos City Council, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., or they can be sent to the following address by certified mail: EXCMO. BORMUJOS CITY COUNCIL, DELEGATION OF CULTURE AND FESTIVITIES POSTER CONTEST ANNOUNCER OF BORMUJOS FAIR 2024, “LA ATARAZANA” CULTURAL CENTER. ATARAZANA STREET, S/N, 41930 BORMUJOS. 3. TOPIC: The topic, mandatory, will be related to the Fair and Bormujos. Any type of technique will be admitted, and the coat of arms of the municipality must appear on the work with the original proportions and colors, and the following text: BORMUJOS FAIR FROM SEPTEMBER 28 TO 1, 2024 4. MEASUREMENTS: The poster will be made vertically and will measure, including margins, 50x70cm and its motif may occupy the entire surface or part of it. They must be mounted on a board, frame or any other support that makes them rigid and the same size as the poster. In any case, the chosen MOTTO must be stated on the back of each work. 5. REGISTRATION: Registration will be carried out by presenting the poster covered, unsigned and on its back it will bear, in clearly visible writing, a motto. A closed envelope will be delivered along with the work, inside which the document ANNEX 1 to the bases and a photocopy of the DNI or passport will be attached. The winning poster will be signed by the author within two days following the publication of the jury's decision. The anonymity of non-awarded works will be maintained. For each delivery, an ANNEX 2 document attached to the bases will be issued, which will record the order number and the date of receipt. Non-winning posters may be removed by their authors or duly authorized persons, and must provide the corresponding document ANNEX 2, within 15 days after the publication of the jury's decision, from Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The city council will acquire ownership of the non-awarded works that were not removed by the authors within 15 days from the day of publication of the jury's decision, and will dispose of them in the manner it deems appropriate, and may even destroy them. 6. PRIZES: The contest prize is estimated at 600 euros (gross) and will be indivisible, the cash prizes are subject to personal income tax withholdings and will be paid once the necessary documentation has been delivered and within the deadlines of the Intervention Area of this City Council. Documentation required to collect the prize. Form 145, copy of D.N.I., Bank Account Certificate The deadline for delivery of the documentation required by the corresponding area will be 1 month from the day of the jury's decision, otherwise it will be considered void. 7. REGULATORY BASES: Approved by Resolution No. 794 of March 22, 2024, of the Delegate of Culture, Festivals and Youth of the Bormujos City Council, published in the B.O.P. dated May 28, 2024.
