Official description of the call
Extract from the call according to the bases for the granting of scholarships for athletes under competitive competition Purpose. Promotion and promotion of sport, supporting activities carried out in the Arteixo City Council in the current calendar year by athletes who practice sports on an individual basis. Beneficiaries. Individual athletes from Arteixo who, by accrediting initial quality and a special dedication to sporting activity, predict a future projection for high-competition sport: Be registered with the Arteixo City Council, with a minimum of two consecutive years of experience, at the time of application. That stand out for results in official regional, national or international competitions in the two seasons prior to the current one, except master's or similar competitions. That they are in possession of the federation license issued or processed by the corresponding sports federation (master or similar licenses will not be valued). They are between 12-30 years old or about to turn in the year of the call (both included). Compete, in the application season, in sporting events/tests of regional, national or international relevance organized or recognized by the respective federations. Accredit sports level in the specialty, in the previous or current season, that is, be a medalist in regional championships of the sports specialty and/or have recognized DAN and/or DGAN and/or be a scholarship holder in one of the regional or national high performance centers. Not be involved in any of the cases of incapacity or incompatibility to obtain the status of beneficiary of the aid (article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, general on subsidies). The following are expressly excluded from this call: All athletes practicing collective sports (football, basketball, handball, rugby, hockey...) and indigenous sports. Athletes who are serving a firm sanction for a disciplinary or administrative infraction in sports matters, classified as serious or very serious. Regulatory bases.- Regulatory bases for the granting of scholarships for athletes under competitive competition in the year 2024 published in the BOP of March 13, 2024. Amounts.- The amounts allocated are the amounts recorded in the regular budget for the year 2024, amounting to a total of €20,000.00 charged to item 341,481.00. Evaluation criteria.- The regulatory bases contain in their article 8 the application evaluation procedure. Application submission period.- The application submission period will be one month, starting from the day following the publication of this call extract in the BOP of A Coruña. Justification Deadline.- The deadline for submitting the justification for the subsidies ends on November 30, 2024 and must be processed as specified in the regulatory bases.
