By which it is made public knowledge, that by the Local Government Board, in an extraordinary session held on May 29, 2024, the following Agreement was adopted taken from the draft of the minutes, which is transcribed below: ASSOCIATIONS AND OTHER NON-PROFIT ENTITIES IN THE FIELD OF SOCIAL SERVICES OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF PÁJARA (SUBV-SSSS 1/2024) Given the administrative file referred to in the heading, the documentation comprising it and, in particular, the Proposal of the Delegate Council, which is transcribed below: “PROPOSED REPORT OF THE DELEGATE COUNCIL OF SOCIAL SERVICES In accordance with the provisions of article 23.2 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, and in accordance with the Municipal Ordinance Regulating the Granting of Subsidies to Associations and other non-profit Entities in the field of Social Services of the City Council of Pájara, I PROPOSE: Proceed to the public call for the granting of subsidies under the of competitive participation for this year, intended for Associations and other non-profit Entities in the field of Social Services of the municipality of Pájara, charged to budget item 2311 48099, with up to 60,000 euros and in accordance with the following specifications: Object and purpose: The object of this call is the granting of subsidies to Associations and other non-profit Entities in the area of Social Services of the municipality of Pájara, whose purpose is the promotion and well-being of the population of the municipality, the promotion of preventive activities, aimed at the care and promotion of the well-being of the population, children and adolescents, the elderly, people with functional, mental or sensory diversity, ethnic minorities and groups with special problems of social vulnerability, as well as those that promote gender equality. The submission of applications implies the express and formal acceptance of the terms of this call. The purpose will be to meet the expenses to be subsidized. The following will be supporting expenses for the subsidy received: 1. Subsidies intended to finance projects within the scope of Equal Opportunities. Priority will be given to projects and initiatives that: - Develop activities that promote co-responsibility and the reconciliation of personal, work and family life. - Activities that promote co-education and education in values of equality aimed at early childhood and/or primary education students. - Activities that involve the involvement of men in the achievement of gender equality, eradication of violence against women, co-responsibility. - Activities that promote training in gender equality and the visibility of the figure of women. 2. Subsidies intended to finance projects within the field of Social Welfare that: - Contain actions and strategies to promote the inclusion of people who are in situations of social vulnerability, whose central objective is normalization. - Develop leisure and free time actions, promote access to new technologies and promote actions aimed at preventing social isolation through the participation of older people/minors. - Contain actions and strategies to promote the improvement of life habits of people who are in need of receiving therapies to improve skills who, due to illness, suffer deterioration. - Develop their actions in areas of the municipality where specific social intervention is necessary given the socio-economic characteristics of the population. 3. Subsidies for maintenance, rental of headquarters, operation, management and, in general, those current expenses that, without a doubt, respond to the nature of the subsidized activity and are carried out within the established period, without in any case, their acquisition cost may be higher than their market value. Procedure and criteria: The concession procedure will be competitive competition, through the ord procedure.
