Official description of the call
First: Call for applications Subsidies for sports projects and activities are being called for the 2024 financial year. Second.- Object and purpose of the subsidy. The purpose of the aid called here is to promote the practice of sports and the development of physical education in general among the population of the municipality of Lucena. Specifically, those activities and projects that are developed in the municipality of Lucena during the year of the call may be eligible for aid, provided that they involve the promotion of sport and fall within the philosophy of the so-called "Sport for all." The projects to be subsidized must refer to sports programs or activities to be carried out between January 1 and December 31, 2024, without prejudice to those beneficiaries who, by participating in a federated competition whose calendar includes two calendar years, submit a request for aid for the part of the season that takes place during the year subject to subsidy. Likewise, the subject of this call will be the free transfer of the use of municipal sports facilities, although the beneficiaries will be solely and exclusively the teams that participate in federated competition and that require these facilities for their training or competition, all in accordance with the use calendar that the technical staff of the Sports Service of the Lucena City Council considers suitable in each case. Third.- Requirements of the Beneficiaries The beneficiaries of the aid provided for in this Call must meet the following requirements: Have the status of a legally constituted legal entity, exceptionally admitting groups of natural persons, legal entities, communities of property or any other type of economic unit or separate assets, provided that the main object of the activity of each is the practice of sports. Have sufficient structure to meet the objectives proposed in the project to be subsidized. Lack of profit motive, according to its statutes or founding regulations. Be up to date with your tax obligations with the Public Treasury, Social Security, as well as taxes, rates and public prices with the Lucena City Council. Not incur any of the prohibitions provided for in article 13 of the General Subsidies Law. Have satisfactorily justified the municipal subsidies previously granted. Be registered in the Municipal Registry of Associations. Have the registered office established in the municipality of Lucena. Be registered in the Andalusian Registry of Sports Entities, in the case of beneficiaries constituted as an Andalusian Sports Entity under the protection of regional legislation on this matter. Develop as a majority activity participation in competitions organized by the corresponding sports federation or in the case of requesting a subsidy for the development of specific events, which are within the federation calendar and have a duration of less than 7 days. Fourth.- Regulatory Bases. This Call is governed by the General Ordinance Regulating the Bases for granting subsidies of this City Council (published in the BOP Córdoba No. 78, of April 23, 2024), hereinafter, the Municipal Ordinance, applying to what is not provided for in them by Law 38/2003, of November 17, General of Subsidies, its Regulations, approved by Royal Decree 887/2006, of July 21, the Budget Execution Bases of the Lucena City Council for the year 2024 and Law 39/2015, of October 1, on Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations, without prejudice to other provisions that by their nature are applicable. Fifth.- Amount. The granting of this aid will be conditional on budget availability. The maximum amount of aid to be granted amounts to €102,550.00, charged to the budget application 501.3410.48000 of the General Expenditure Budget of this City Council for 2024. The individualized amount of the aid will be determined by the application of the assessment criteria indicated in the call. Sixth.- Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will be 15 days from the publication of this extract in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba.
