First. - Beneficiaries. - The City Councils of municipalities in the province of Palencia with a population of less than 20,000 inhabitants may be beneficiaries of the subsidies regulated in these bases. Second. - Object. - Collaborate in the financing of the investment expenditure necessary to carry out actions aimed at the digital transformation and modernization of local entities at the tourism level. Third. - Eligible actions. - The investment expenses indicated below are considered eligible for subsidies: -Acquisition and installation of point of sale (POS) terminals (including software and printers) in the Tourist Office or in tourist resources or tourist facilities managed by the City Council. -Acquisition and installation of digital signage systems or similar, as long as they are of a tourist nature. -Acquisition and installation of digital tourist information totems, interactive screens and similar. -Acquisition of PDAs for the Tourism Office or for tourist resources managed by the City Council. -Development of tourist APPs. The development of any type of tourist application, as well as the content it includes, must comply with any regulations related to security, accessibility, interoperability, data protection, etc. that affects Public Administrations. -Development of Virtual Tourism Offices. The development of any type of platform, as well as the content it includes, must comply with any regulations related to security, accessibility, interoperability, data protection, etc. that affects Public Administrations. -Installation of network hardware and software infrastructure necessary for the deployment of the wireless Internet network and its management, only in the case of public use aimed at tourists (reference is made only to tourist offices or tourist information points, tourist resources managed by the City Council requesting the subsidy or tourist facilities). -Acquisition and installation of digital access control systems (visitors or users) or other elements in the Tourism Office, tourist resource or tourist facilities. Room. - Amount. - The total credit for this call is 60,000.00 euros. The amount of the subsidy will be a maximum of 70% of the budget accepted for calculating the amount of the subsidy according to the considerations stipulated in the bases of the call. Fifth. - Application submission deadline. - The deadline for submitting applications will be one month, counting from the day following the publication of the call in the Official Provincial Gazette, extending said deadline until the first following business day, when the last day is a Saturday, Sunday or holiday. Sixth. - The annexes and other documentation corresponding to this call will be available to interested parties at the electronic headquarters of the Provincial Council of Palencia (https://sede.diputaciondepalencia.es).
