Aid for UV athletes enrolled in this university in the 2024/2025 academic year

Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries: Students enrolled in the University of Valencia's own centers in official Bachelor's, Master's and Doctoral degrees during the 2024-2025 academic year and who have passed at least one subject in the 2023/24 academic year, if they were already a student at the University of Valencia, who are high-level athletes, high performance, elite of the CV, federated athletes or members of the university teams of the University of Valencia. València, whose aid has not been declared waived in the previous year. Second. Purpose: The purpose of this aid is to develop a support program for athletes at the University of Valencia, with the aim of making it possible for them to combine sporting activity and participation in different competitions with academic studies, thus facilitating their full integration into the university educational system. Third. Regulatory bases: The call is published at the following URL: https://links.uv.es/2GqZDiM All communications that must be made to interested parties related to this call (notifications, requirements, resolution, etc.) will be made on the official bulletin board of this university (http://tauler.uv.es) Fourth. Amount: The aid will be financed from the budget of the University of Valencia for 2024, organic 508000000, for an amount of €126,000. The number of grants will be 20 of €1,200.00 and 280 of €350.00. All athletes who meet the necessary requirements to be part of the aid program will receive academic sports aid that will consist of: academic tutoring, the possibility of using the sports facilities and the means available to the Servei d'Esports for the development of the training required by their sport and use of the services of the Athlete Support Office of the Servei d'Esports (medical service, physiotherapy, psychology, sports training and nutrition). The 20 athletes in the Program with the highest score will obtain financial aid of €1,200.00 each, and the next 280 will receive €350.00. Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications: The deadline for submitting applications and documentation will begin on September 9 and end on October 4, 2024. Sixth.
