Ordinary call for Individualized Aid in School Transportation during the 2024/2025 school year

Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries: Those students who meet the requirements to be users of school transport in accordance with the provisions of the Resolution of May 12, 2021 (BOPA May 21, 2021), of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Rural Environment and Territorial Cohesion, which regulates the provision of the school transport service for students of non-university public educational centers in the Principality of Asturias or regulations, which in their case, replace it, and that there are school transportation routes in the corresponding educational center, you cannot use them. Second. Purpose: Obtain financial aid to cover the transportation costs of the beneficiary students to the corresponding school or transportation stop. Third. Regulatory Bases: Resolution of August 27, 2014, of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports, which establishes the regulatory bases for the granting of individualized aid for school transportation, (BOPA of September 9, 2014), modified by Resolutions of November 3, 2015 and November 7, 2016. Fourth. Credit of the Call An expense for an amount of €243,303.03 is authorized, recorded in the budget application 1602.423B.482032 "For transport aid" Fifth. Types of Aid: a), Students who use regular passenger transportation service. The amount of the aid will be the price of the ticket or pass set by the competent body in transport matters. b) ,,Students who do not use regular passenger transportation service. The amount of aid in this case will be set depending on the means of transport used by the beneficiary students, which may be: b.1), Students who travel by their own means. The amount of aid per kilometer will be that established in the Agreement of the Government Council of the Principality of Asturias, by which the amounts of Compensation for Reason of Service are established annually, in its section referring to mileage, for the personnel in the service of the Administration of the Principality of Asturias. b.2) ,,Students, who, given the impossibility of traveling by their own means, use taxi service. The amount of the aid per kilometer will be that established in Decree 50/2008, of June 19, which regulates the tariff regime for interurban discretionary public transport services for tourism travelers (auto-taxi), modified by Decree 62/2022, of October 14 (BOPA 10/24/2022). b.3.),Students, who, given the impossibility of traveling by their own means, use taxi service and this has an exceptional cost higher than that calculated in accordance with the previous section. The amount of the aid will cover the real cost of the service, following a report from the competent body in transport matters. In no case may the amount of aid awarded exceed the actual cost of the service, with a limit of €8,000 per beneficiary and course. Sixth. Deadline for submitting applications: It will be FIFTEEN days counted from the day following the publication of this call in the BOPA.
