The Arteixo City Council publishes the call and the rules for the #ArteixoÉmar Photographic Contest, approved by the Local Government Board on September 4, 2024. RULES FOR THE #ARTEIXOÉMAR PHOTOGRAPHIC CONTEST – CALENDAR 2025 1. PURPOSE The Arteixo City Council, through its Department of Tourism, announces the #ArteixoÉmar Photographic Contest, with the aim of that the winning photographs are included in the City Council's 2025 Calendar. 2. REGISTRATION DEADLINE The period for submitting photographs will begin the day after the publication of these rules on the municipal website and will end on Monday, September 30, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. 3. CONDITIONS AND REQUIREMENTS OF PARTICIPATION To be able to participate, the user must be a follower or start following the Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/concellodearteixooficial or Instagram https://www.instagram.com/concellodearteixo/ - The user will participate in this Photographic Contest through the Easypromos application by uploading a photo taken by him (or for which he has copyright and reproduction rights) in which he shows an object, event or person related to the sea or fishing in Arteixo. The best will be part of the 2025 Calendar edited by the City Council, which will show a different photo each month. - The photograph must be taken at the Arteixo City Hall. - The photograph must be of sufficient quality to be printed on the physical calendar without loss of quality. The original file prior to any editing must have a minimum resolution of 30x20 cm at 300 dpi. - Photographs that do not meet the above requirements may be excluded from the vote. - Without being required, horizontal framing of the images is recommended to avoid having to cut part of it to adapt it for reproduction in the calendar. - The photograph must be sent in JPEG, PNG or TIFF format through the form that can be accessed through the website, Facebook and Instagram of the Arteixo City Council. - The form will be available once the “Participate” button of the contest is selected. - The participant will fill out all the fields of the participation form and all the personal data required, all of which are mandatory. - The participating person will provide accurate and up-to-date personal data so that they truthfully respond to their current situation. - Those works that have previously been awarded in another competition or contest, or do not meet the estimate by these rules, will automatically be excluded from the competition. At the same time, photographs that bear a signature or any other identifying mark will not be accepted. 4. CONTEST MECHANICS - The contest will require a minimum of 5 participants to be held; if this is not reached, the contest will be suspended. - The voting for the images will be carried out through the contest page and the evaluation of a jury made up of a professional from the world of music, a professional from the world of photography and a professional from the world of advertising. - The vote will be made up of the result of the sum of 4 scores (with 48 points being the maximum possible score): 1st score: will depend on the popular vote on the contest page. - The work with the most votes will get 12 points - The second will get 11 points - The third will get 10 points - The fourth will get 9 points - The fifth will get 8 points - The sixth will get 7 points - The seventh will get 6 points - The eighth will get 5 points - The ninth will get 4 points - The tenth will get 3 points - The eleventh will get 2 points - The twelfth will get 1 point 2nd score: it will depend on the assessment of a related professional with the world of fishing, which will score 12 works with 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 points. 3rd score: it will depend on the assessment of a professional related to the world of photography, who will score 12 works with 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 points. 4th score: will depend on the assessment of a professional related to the world of advertising, who will score 12 works with 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 points. - If no participant obtains votes (0 votes at the end of the contest), a random draw will be held through the Easypromos platform among all of them to choose the 12 winners. - In case of a tie between several users with the same score
