EXTRACT OF THE CALL FOR SUBSIDIES TO THE PEÑAS DEL CARNIVAL FOR THEIR PARTICIPATION IN THE PARADES OF FLOATS AND COMPARSES OF THE CARNIVAL OF CAMPO ARAÑUELO 2025. Extract of the agreement of the Local Government Board, dated September 9, 2024, by which the “RULES OF THE CALL FOR SUBSIDIES TO THE PEÑAS DEL CARNIVAL FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE FLOAT PARADES AND COMPARSES OF THE CAMPO ARAÑUELO CARNIVAL 2025”, through the competitive competition procedure. In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans). 1. OBJECT. The purpose of these rules is to establish the general provisions for the granting of subsidies, and their call on a competitive basis, to the float groups, to the groups of adult troupes, to the groups of children's troupes and to the visiting troupes, on the occasion of their participation in the carnival parades, on Sunday, March 2 and Tuesday, March 4, 2025 in Navalmoral de la Mata. 2. PARTICIPANTS. For all categories, participants must be clubs or associations duly registered in the Registry of Associations of Extremadura. All categories must meet the requirement of being registered in said registry. 3. CONDITIONS AND PURPOSE. Associations or clubs that meet the following conditions may be eligible for a subsidy: Float category. Floats will be considered those that have dimensions that will be around 6 meters long, 3.80 meters wide and 3.90 meters high and are made up of a group of people equal to or greater than 15 members. Adult troupes category. Adult troupes will be considered those that are made up of a group of people equal to or greater than 25 members. Children's troupes will be considered those that are made up of a group of people equal to or greater than 20 members, in which at least 80% of its members are under 14 years of age. Visiting groups category. Clubs may participate in the category they choose according to the conditions of the categories described above and qualify for a subsidy. All clubs that request subsidies must participate in the parades on Sunday, March 2 and Tuesday, March 4, 2025 in Navalmoral de la Mata. 4. APPLICATIONS AND DOCUMENTATION TO SUBMIT. Applications will be formalized in the official form. Both the application and the Annexes can be downloaded at the Electronic Headquarters of the Navalmoral de la Mata City Council, https://aytonavalmoral.sedelectronica.es/. Documentation: Application for participation in accordance with Annex I. In it you must indicate the following sections, otherwise, you must provide the originals referred to in each section: Authorization to consult ex officio your registration in the municipal registry of associations. Responsible declaration that your participation in the contest complies with the requirements of the call. Responsible declaration that the applicant does not have any of the circumstances that prevent obtaining the status of beneficiary of public subsidies, established in article 13 of the General Law of Subsidies, in accordance with Annex II of this call. The request to participate in any of the calls implies full knowledge and acceptance in their entirety of these rules, compliance with the required participation requirements, acceptance of the decision by the organization and, where appropriate, the interpretation of these Rules. In case of doubt about the particular contents of this call, the Celebrations area reserves the right of interpretation. 5. REGULATORY BASES. The regulatory bases for the granting of these awards are contained in the document “BASES FOR THE CALL FOR SUBSIDIES TO THE CARNIVAL PEÑAS FOR THEIR PARTICIPATION IN THE FLOAT PARADES AND COMPARSAS OF THE CAMPO ARAÑUELO CARNIVAL 2025”. 6. PERIOD AND PLACE OF SUBMISSION. For the call for the Grand Parade of floats, adult troupes and children's troupes, a submission period of TEN WORKING DAYS is established from the publication of the call in the Bulletin
