Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries Those students who meet the following requirements will be eligible for the aid provided for in these rules: General No member of the family unit has debts with the Pozuelo de Alarcón City Council. Not have receipts pending payment at the Municipal School of Music and Dance. Have legal residence in Spain and be registered in the municipality of Pozuelo de Alarcón. Be enrolled in the Municipal School of Music and Dance. Not having been reprimanded for non-compliance with the Regulations for the Provision of the Service of the Municipal School of Music and Dance (EMMD) of the Pozuelo de Alarcón City Council during the previous year. Academics f) Have passed all the subjects in which they had enrolled in the course prior to the application. In the case of new students, this requirement will not be taken into account. The aid may be revoked at the end of each quarter by the Governing Council at the proposal of the Vice-Presidency of the Municipal Board of Culture, with respect to the subsidized subjects. The revocation will require a prior report from the Management of the Municipal School of Music and Dance, referring to the musical or/and dance performance of the student and the audience thereof. Economic g) Those families whose “per capita” income adjusts to the scale determined annually in the call will be able to access the Scholarships, being able to establish percentage brackets based on income levels. To obtain the annual “per capita” income, the income of all family members will be added and the result will be divided by the number of members of the family unit. If there are more applications that meet the aforementioned requirements than the amount allocated for scholarships in the budgets, as many applicants as possible will be selected, starting with the lowest income. If it is necessary to establish an additional assignment criterion, the date and time of entry of the request in the registry will be taken into account. The following will be considered to make up the family unit: The parents who are not legally separated and related by any of the legally recognized unions and, where appropriate, the guardian or person in charge of the custody and protection of the minor. Minor children, with the exception of emancipated children. Children of legal age with mental or sensory disabilities or judicially incapacitated, subject to extended or rehabilitated parental authority. Children of legal age who live in the same family home and do not have income. When there is no marriage bond or legally recognized union and without prejudice to the provisions of the following paragraph, the family unit will be understood to consist of the father, the mother and all the children who live with them and who meet the requirements of the previous section. In the event of the death of one of the parents who lived with him, it will be accredited with the death certificate. In the event of separation or divorce, those who do not live with the scholarship applicant will not be considered a qualifying member. However, if applicable, the new spouse or person united by a similar relationship whose income will be included in the calculation of family income will be considered as a computable member. The separation or divorce will be accredited in the following way: In the case of de facto separation, a notarial document, proof of filing a separation claim or other documents that support said situation must be presented. If the separation or divorce is legal, the court ruling that determines it or a regulatory agreement stating the custody of the minor must be presented. Family income means the sum of the income obtained by all eligible members, regardless of their origin, in the previous year. For the purposes of calculating the “per capita” income, every member of the family unit with a proven disability equal to or greater than 33% in the terms defined in article 1.2 of Law 51/2003 of December 2 on equal opportunities will be counted as two. Object. Its purpose is to make the principle of equality a reality, through a system of financial aid aimed at the most economically disadvantaged students of the Municipal School of Music and Dance.
