Call for and Granting of Subsidies through the Competitive Competition Procedure for Travel Scholarships to university students and/or vocational training cycles or high school students with travel outside the town, for residents of Arahal, school year 2024/2025. DESCRIPTION: Resolution No. 2024-2850 issued by the Mayor-President on September 30, 2024, which calls for Travel Scholarships for residents of Arahal e on a competitive basis. First. Beneficiaries: This scholarship program is intended for residents of the municipality of Arahal, who are students, who are enrolled for the 2024-2025 academic year, in any University (degree or master's degree), official cycles of professional training or baccalaureate taught outside the town or in official Conservatories of Music or Dance (from the second year onwards) up to 40 years of age included, as help with the expenses derived from traveling for the study carried out outside the town, and whose family unit income does not exceed the limits detailed in the bases. Second. Object. The purpose of this call is to promote the right to education, through financial aid to students under 40 years of age who, not exceeding the family income thresholds established in its bases, need to travel outside the municipality to carry out their post-compulsory studies (University, including master's degrees, Baccalaureate, Adult Baccalaureate, Vocational Training Cycles and Internships and, Official Conservatories of Music or Dance) starting from the second year. The granting of these subsidies will be processed on a competitive basis, in accordance with Article 22 of Law 38/2003 of November 17, General Subsidies (LGS). Third. Regulatory bases Regulatory bases approved by the Mayor's Office No. 2024-2850 dated September 30, 2024, published on the electronic Board of the Arahal City Council. Room. Amount. Aid for travel expenses will have a total amount of TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY EUROS (€250.00), which will be effective in one go. The total amount of the scholarships to be awarded amounts to €18,000. Fifth. Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will be 15 business days from the day following the publication of these Rules in the Official Gazette of the province of Seville (BOP). Failure to comply with the deadline established for the submission of applications will automatically determine the exclusion of the application due to late submission. After the deadline for submitting applications, it will be published on the H.E.'s notice board. Arahal City Council, and on its website (http://www.arahal.es), a provisional list of those admitted and excluded, giving a period of 5 business days to correct possible defects. After this period, the final list of those admitted and excluded and the provisional list of qualifications will be published, again granting a period of 5 business days to make possible allegations to this provisional list of qualifications. Participants may be required to appear at the Youth Delegation of the City Council, Espacio Creativo Joven, located at Vereda de Sevilla S/N (back of the Municipal Theatre), in order to be able to reliably accredit their personal academic record or resolve any doubts that may arise to the assessment commission. In that case, failure to appear will result in withdrawal of the application. After this period, the final list of qualifications and the 72 final beneficiaries will be published. All publications will be made on the City Council's Notice Board, in the Youth Space, on the City Council's electronic headquarters: arahal.sedelectronica.es and through announcements on the City Council's Social Networks.
