Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries Line 1. Program financing Entities that meet the requirements indicated below can apply for aid related to line 1: a) Be legally constituted. b) Be registered, with a minimum seniority of 2 years from the date of publication of the call in the Official Gazette of the Balearic Islands, as social services lending entities in the Unified Registry of Social Services of the Balearic Islands (RUSS), regulated in chapter II of Decree 10/2013, of February 28, which establishes the general principles of the Unified Registry of Social Services of the Islands. Balearic Islands and the procedures for the authorization and accreditation of supra-island social services. c) Have a permanent and active headquarters or delegation on the island of Menorca. d) Be up to date with compliance with tax and social security obligations. e) Act in the territorial area of Menorca. If your scope of action is broader, the impact and incidence of your action within the Minorcan area must be demonstrated and justified or a specific program for Menorca must be presented. The different legally constituted delegations of the same private non-profit entity can apply for this call if they present specific differentiated programs that each one of them manages autonomously, as long as they do not act on the same municipality. f) Be up to date with the payment of obligations for reimbursement of subsidies with the Island Council of Menorca, at the time of submitting the application for this subsidy. g) Not be integrated into a foundation that has been established with a majority contribution, direct or indirect, from the Island Council of Menorca, or whose founding assets, on a permanent basis, are made up of more than 50% by assets or rights contributed or transferred by the Island Administration. h) Never having been subject to firm administrative sanctions or convictions for having exercised or tolerated labor practices considered discriminatory based on sex or gender, in compliance with article 11 of Law 11/2016, of July 28, on equality between women and men. Line 2. Support for carrying out courses, conferences, seminars, conferences and other training activities In addition to the requirements for line 1 of the call, to request aid referring to line 2, entities must also comply with the following: c) The corporate purpose of the applicant entity must be located on the island of Menorca. (instead of section c) of line 1.) i) Entities that support users/partners who have a recognized minimum of 33% disability cannot be financed. Second. Purpose The purpose of aid for private non-profit entities for the development of social care programs for people is to finance projects and/or support social services that improve the offer of benefits already existing in Menorca to promote and cover expenses related to personal autonomy, quality of life and social well-being of Menorcans. Third. Regulatory bases The call will be governed by the regulatory bases approved by the Executive Council of the Island Council of Menorca, in an ordinary session on September 16, 2024. Fourth. Amount The maximum global amount of the call is €520,000 (five hundred and twenty thousand euros), with the following breakdown: Line 1: €500,000. Line 2: €20,000. Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications The deadline for submitting applications will be thirty calendar days from the day following the publication of this call in the Official Gazette of the Balearic Islands. Sixth. Other information In relation to the maximum amounts per beneficiary, the maximum amount that can be granted per beneficiary in relation to line 1 of aid will be 80,000 euros and in relation to line 2 of aid will be 3,000 euros.
