Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries Legally constituted professional agricultural organizations that have their registered office and scope of action within the territory of Menorca and have real and democratic internal functioning can apply for the subsidy. In this sense, organizations that do not carry out the electoral processes provided for in their statutes are excluded from this competitive competition procedure. Second. Purpose The purpose of this aid is to participate in the expenses incurred for carrying out the ordinary activities of the professional agricultural organizations of the island of Menorca (hereinafter, OPA) from January 1 to December 31 of the current year. Third. Regulatory bases The call will be governed by the regulatory bases approved by the Executive Council of the Island Council of Menorca, in an ordinary session on September 23, 2024. Fourth. Amount The maximum global amount of the call is €95,000 (ninety-five thousand euros), with the following breakdown: Line 1. Maintenance, representation and publications of the agricultural professional organization. €35,000 Line 2. Advice and management of aid to agricultural holdings to improve the service to their members. €60,000 TOTAL €95,000 Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications The deadline for submitting applications is 20 calendar days from the day after this call has been published in the Official Gazette of the Balearic Islands (BOIB). Sixth. Other information The maximum total subsidy that each OPA may receive, between the two lines, is €39,000. The maximum individual aid for line 1 expenses will be €19,000. The maximum individual aid for line 2 expenses will be €20,000.
