Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries. Master's students from the University of La Rioja who meet the following requirements may participate: a) Be formally enrolled in an official course leading to obtaining a Master's degree. b) Not being in possession or legally able to obtain the Second University Master's degree. Object. The purpose of the scholarships is to promote the initiation into R&D&I tasks of the master's students of the University of La Rioja in the University of La Rioja's own Research Centers or Research Institutes. The number of research initiation scholarships for newly awarded university Master's students for the 2024-2025 academic year called is three, of which one will be distributed to each Own Research Center or Research Institute of the University of La Rioja. Third. Regulatory bases. Regulatory bases of the University of La Rioja for calls for research initiation grants. (Approved by the Government Council of September 17, 2020, modified by the Government Council of February 28, 2023.) Official Gazette of La Rioja of March 6, 2023. Amount. The estimated distribution is as follows: total withheld of €7,291 distributed into €6,000 as the scholarship endowment and €1,291 as Social Security contributions. Fifth. Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will be 20 calendar days from the day following the publication of the extract of this resolution in the Official Gazette of La Rioja. Sixth. Other data. In order to comply with the provisions of article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, applications may be submitted to the Electronic Registry of the University of La Rioja through the General Instance procedure of the Electronic Office in which the documentation indicated in the call of the Electronic Office will be attached. The application forms, which will be available on the University website (https://www.unirioja.es/administracion-y-servicios/servicio-de-gestion-de-la-investigacion/becas-iniciacion/), will be completed in accordance with the instructions indicated therein. Together with the application form, the following documents must be attached: a) Identity data of the interested party. Participation in the selection process will presume authorization for the University of La Rioja to collect the applicant's identity data, unless express opposition is stated, in which case, a copy of the National Identity Document must be provided. Copy of the passport (valid) in case the application is submitted with this identification document. b) Collaboration project: - It will be completed in accordance with the application model and will be developed in the University of La Rioja's own Research Center or Research Institute. - The project must be endorsed and scored by the management of the Research Center or Research Institute for which the candidate is applying. - The applicant must present, with the application, a collaboration project to be developed within one of the research lines of the Research Centers or Research Institutes. - The project will have content linked to research tasks and the studies that the candidate is pursuing and will be developed in the own Center or own research Institute. - The project will describe the functions to be performed during the collaboration, as well as the dedication regime and tasks that the scholarship recipient must fulfill. c) Official academic certification of the studies for which you accessed the university Master's degree. Exclusively for scholarship candidates who have completed previous studies outside the University of La Rioja. The certification must include the average grade of the academic record.
