Official description of the call
First: Purpose and aid granting regime. The Betanzos City Council wants, through this call, to support sports entities and contribute to achieving their own objectives, encouraging citizen participation in each area of action, thus contributing to promoting equality and the democratization of society. Regarding subsidies to sports entities, this call sets general objectives such as participation in federated competitions, improving the management and organization of sports activities through the granting of subsidies in competitive competition. Priorities in this call are actions aimed at promoting the development of the aforementioned federated activities, promoting grassroots sports and promoting school sports. Second: Beneficiary persons and entities. Entities that meet the following requirements will be eligible for the programs contained in this call: - Be legally constituted and have updated documentation. - Lack of profit purposes. - Develop their activities within the territorial scope of the Betanzos City Council or on topics of interest to the City Council. - Not having to justify any subsidy granted, in the previous call, by the Betanzos City Council, unless an extension was exceptionally granted or had been withdrawn, or justified by non-presentation, if the process is completed. - Not be subject to any of the circumstances provided for in article 13 of Law 38/2003, General Subsidies, or cases of incapacity or incompatibility for the receipt of public aid or subsidies. - Be up to date with your tax duties with the State and Regional Tax Agency, with Social Security and with the City Council, and with your legal duties with the personnel who provide services for the requesting entities. Third: Regulatory Bases. The regulatory bases of this aid will be published in the Official Gazette of the Province of A Coruña and on the Notice Board of the electronic headquarters of the Betanzos City Council (https://sede.betanzos.gal/sxc/gl/informacion/) Fourth: Amount, duration and purpose of the aid. 62,000.00 euros will be allocated to subsidies for sports activities under budget application 341/489.00. The period to carry out eligible activities is from January 1, 2024 to December 5, 2024. Fifth: Form, place and deadline for submitting applications. Applications will be formulated in the model that appears as an annex to this call and will be submitted only by electronic means through the standardized application form of the municipal electronic headquarters. (sede.betanzos.gal). The annexes necessary to complete the application for this aid will be available for download on the municipal website (sede.betanzos.gal), along with the rest of the information related to the call. The text of the call and the required information will be included in advance in the National Subsidies Database. BDNS will send the extract of the call to the BOP of A Coruña for publication. The deadline for submitting applications will begin the day following the publication of the extract of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province and will have a maximum duration of fifteen business days.
