SUBSIDIES TO NON-GOVERNMENTAL DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATIONS FOR THE CARRYING OUT OF DEVELOPMENT COOPERATION PROJECTS. YEAR 2024

Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries The entities and organizations referred to in Art. 3 of the same and that, in addition to meeting the requirements indicated in art. 13 of the General Subsidies Law comply with those established in art. 7 of the call. Second. Purpose The purpose of this Call is to grant aid, during the 2024 financial year, to Non-Governmental Development Organizations for the implementation of Cooperation and Solidarity Projects in developing countries and particularly in the most disadvantaged peoples of other nations and whose objective is the improvement of living conditions and the development of their own natural, technical and human resources, as well as the defense and promotion of human rights and fundamental freedoms. Third. Regulatory bases Annex to the General Subsidies Ordinance of the Oviedo City Council, the last modification of which was published in the BOPA of December 27, 2019. Fourth.- Amount The total amount allocated to this call amounts to 480,000.00 euros and will be financed from item 900 2317 48999. The determination of the individualized amount of each subsidy will result from the application of the criteria indicated in art. 13, taking into account the budget limits established in this call. The amount of the subsidy granted to each NGDO, through this call, will not, in any case, exceed 8% of the total budget allocated to it. Likewise, the subsidy awarded may not be used, in more than 10% of its amount, for administration or management expenses, which must also be related to the purpose of the call. The granting of these subsidies is carried out through a competitive competition regime. Fifth. Presentation deadline. 15 business days counting from the day following the publication of the extract of the call in the B.O.P.A. Sixth. Other data. Pursuant to the provisions of Art. 34.4 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies and art. 42.2 d) and 88.2 of Royal Decree 887/2006, of July 21, which approves the Regulation of Law 38/2003, the subsidies granted will be released in one go prior to their justification, in accordance with the provisions of the budget management procedure without requiring a guarantee.
