Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries. Companies or individual businessmen (self-employed) who are registered in the heading corresponding to the theatrical, dance or circus activity of the Economic Activities Tax and who have tax domicile on the island of Tenerife may be beneficiaries of these subsidies. Second. Object. The aim is to subsidize proposals for the production of works or shows of a professional nature in theatre, dance, circus, street arts, or any scenic language that includes these disciplines. The purpose of these subsidies is to promote the stability and consolidation of self-employed performing arts companies or professionals who develop production projects, and to help strengthen the island's business network dedicated to the production of professional activities related to the performing arts. This objective is intended to be achieved by supporting excellence in production, partially facilitating both the necessary financing that allows the hiring of the appropriate professionals for this purpose, and the design, production and development of any element that allows the execution of scenic projects. Third. Regulatory bases. The general bases that govern this call were approved by agreement of the Island Government Council dated October 9, 2024, and are published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife No. 127 dated October 21, 2024 (https://www.bopsantacruzdetenerife.es/boletines/2024/21-10-24/21-10-24.pdf). Room. Amount. The amount approved for this call amounts to two hundred and ten thousand (210,000.00) euros for proposals that are made and released between December 1, 2024 and November 30, 2025. Fifth. Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications begins on the day following the publication of this extract in the Official Gazette of the Province, for a period of twenty (20) calendar days. Applications are filled out according to the standardized model enabled in the electronic office https://sede.tenerife.es/es/tramites-y-servicios. Once the application has been completed, the documents required in base 9 of the call will be attached. Sixth. Other data. The projects subject to this aid are divided into: modality A, productions of up to 8,500 euros of expenses that may request up to 6,000 euros of subsidy, as long as this does not exceed 90% of the total expense incurred; and modality B, productions with expenses starting at 8,501 euros that may request up to 30,000 euros in subsidies, as long as they do not exceed 70% of the total expenses. The minimum score to qualify for beneficiary status will be 60 points. Professionalism: the projects must be professional in nature, which will be accredited at the time of justification through the contracts or registrations and Social Security contributions of those involved in the production.
