Official description of the call
In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3 b) and 20.8 a) of Law 38/2003, of November 17, general on subsidies, the extract of the call for the Subsidy Program for municipal sports clubs and entities for the promotion and promotion of sport for the year 2024 approved by agreement of the Local Government Board dated October 21, 2024 is published. First.- Beneficiary entities may attend to this call for subsidies all sports entities that meet the requirements and purposes of this call and that encourage and promote, in general, Physical Education and Sports in the municipal area of Ferrol City Council. Second.- Purpose The financial aid from this call will be used to carry out activities developed by sports clubs and entities, through two lines of action: participation in federated sports competitions and sports initiation activities and promotion of non-federated sports practice. Only the expenses established in Base Ten of the Regulatory Bases will be eligible. Entities and/or activities related to Base Two of the regulatory bases are excluded from the program. The expenses covered by the subsidy must be incurred in the period between 01/01/2024 and 12/31/2024. Third.- Regime in which the grant will be made The aid regulated in this regulation has the legal nature of a subsidy and will be granted under a competitive competition regime, under the provisions of article 22.1 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General of Subsidies. Fourth.- Regulatory bases The call will be governed by the Regulatory Bases published in the BOP of A Coruña dated 10/28/2024 (BOP no. 208) and on the notice board of the electronic headquarters of the Ferrol City Council website approved by agreement of the Local Government Board dated October 21, 2024. https://bop.dacoruna.gal/bopportal/publicado/2024/10/28/2024_0000007486.html Fifth.- Amount The amount allocated amounts to a total of €141,837.52 charged to the budget application 05004 3411 48000 of the regular budget for the year 2024. The amount of the In no case may the subsidy exceed 40% of the budget of the subsidized activity(ies), and in any case it may not exceed €10,000. Sixth.- Evaluation criteria The evaluation criteria for applications are those established in Base Six of the Regulatory Bases. Seventh.- Deadline for submitting applications The deadline for submitting applications will be 15 business days from the day following the publication of the extract of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province of A Coruña. Eighth.- Competent bodies for the investigation and resolution of the files They will be those established in the Fifth Base of the Regulatory Bases. Ninth.- Deadline for resolution, notification and presentation of appeals They will be those established in the Eighth base of the Regulatory Bases. Tenth.- Documents and information that must be related to the request They will be those that appear as annexes to the Regulatory Bases. Eleventh.- Reformulation of requests The Bases do not recognize this possibility. Twelfth.- Justification period The period for justifying subsidies will end on January 31, 2025. Thirtieth.- Use of language and non-discriminatory language. Communications with the Ferrol City Council, as well as dissemination related to the purpose of this agreement, must be carried out in Galician in compliance with the Municipal Ordinance of Linguistic Normalization. Likewise, language that is not discriminatory or exclusive of the female gender will be used. Fortieth.- means of notification and publication of the call This call will be sent for publication to the National Subsidies Database (BNDS).
