Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries. Students enrolled at the University of Cantabria during the 2024/2025 academic year for undergraduate and Official Master's degrees may be beneficiaries of the scholarship. Second. Object. The objective of the Program is to finance the tuition fees and, where appropriate, additional study aid, for students of the University of Cantabria who, in the 2024/2025 academic year, take official undergraduate and Official Master's degree courses. Third. Regulatory bases. Rectoral Resolution, of October 28, 2024, which establishes the regulatory bases and calls for scholarships from the Regional Scholarship Program of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria, intended to finance tuition expenses and, where appropriate, additional study aid, for students of the University of Cantabria who, in the 2024/2025 academic year, take official university degrees for Bachelor's and Official Master's degrees. Room. Amount. The amount of the scholarships will be 210,000.00 euros. The amount of the scholarship will cover an individual amount of all the credits enrolled by the students for the first time in the 2024/2025 academic year in official Bachelor's and Official Master's studies at the University of Cantabria. In the event that the sum of the amount of the tuition fees for the scholarships is less than the budget limit, the Selection Committee Scholarship holders will approve the distribution of the remainder as additional study aid among the beneficiaries. Fifth. Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will be one month from the day following the publication of the extract of the call in the Official Gazette of Cantabria. Sixth. Other data. - Essential requirement: Having made the application for the general scholarship convened by the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports or, where applicable, by the Government of the Basque Country in the 2024/2025 academic year. - Scholarship applications will be submitted electronically on the Virtual Campus of the University of Cantabria, in the Registry Office of the University of Cantabria or in any of the places provided for in article 16.4 of the Law. 39/2015, of October 1, of the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations.- Award criteria: In the event that the total amount of scholarship applications that meet the established requirements exceeds the budget limit, the award will be made by ordering the applications from lowest to highest family income.
