Official description of the call
By Mayor's Decree no. 1704/2024, dated 11/11/2024, the call for granting subsidies for attendance at daycare centers (2023-2024 academic year) was approved. Ref. BDNS 796428 The Local Government Board of this town council, in a session dated 08/14/2024, approved the regulatory bases for subsidies for attendance at daycare centers (2023-2024 academic year), as well as your call. In accordance with the provisions of arts. 17.3 and 20.8 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, these bases are published together with the call for them, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Base (http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans). 1.- Object The purpose of these bases is to regulate the regime of individual aid for attendance at daycare centers, in accordance with the competence in matters of education of local regulations and the provisions of the General Ordinance for the Granting of Subsidies of the City Council of Alcanar. The aid is intended to subsidize part of the expenses that families must assume when paying daycare fees. The aid is universal in nature. The granting of this aid is conditional on the existence of credit in the corresponding budget applications. 2.- Amount The amount of the eligible cost will be the total of the expenses borne by families for daycare registration, corresponding to the months between September and June of the corresponding call. Registration must be carried out in an official center recognized by the Department of Education of the Generalitat of Catalonia. The total amount of the subsidy will be equivalent to 50% of the amount paid. In the event that the total amount requested is higher than the existing budget availability, the individual amount of each request will be reduced proportionally. 3.- Purpose To comply with the strategic objectives defined in the Mandate Action Plan, these financial aid will be individual and universal in nature, and will be intended to help all families who take their sons and daughters to daycare. 4.- Eligible period The eligible period will be between the months of September and June. Daycare fees corresponding to the months of July and August will not be eligible for subsidies, in general. 5.- Requirements of the beneficiaries The beneficiaries of these subsidies may be the natural or legal persons who have to carry out the activity that bases their granting, provided that they are not affected by any of the prohibitions contained in art. 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, and meet the conditions established in the regulatory bases published in the BOPT dated 08/28/2024. 6.- Concession procedure The deadline for submitting applications will be 20 business days from the publication of this announcement in the Official Gazette of the Province of Tarragona. Individual applications will be submitted by the fathers and/or mothers, or by the guardians of the boys and girls, duly completed and signed to the General Registry of the Alcanar City Council, either in person or through the electronic office: https://alcanar.eadministracio.cat/info.0 All applications will be accompanied by the necessary documentation for processing. Submission of the application does not generate any rights. The Alcanar City Council will request from the daycare center the list of enrolled boys and girls, signed by the management of each center, and the details of whether it is half-day or full-day. 7.- Bodies competent for the instruction and the concession proposal The body responsible for the instruction of the procedure for granting the financial aid for attendance at daycare centers provided for in these rules will be the Department of Education, through the evaluation commission. 8.- Obligations of the beneficiaries The obligations of the beneficiaries of this aid, in addition to those specified in article 14 LGS, are those indicated below. Failure to comply will give rise to the corresponding responsibilities in each case and the initiation of the aid reimbursement file. 9- Payment methods To make the payment of the aid, it will be necessary to present the duly paid invoice or receipt,
