Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries. The contest is aimed at registered beekeeping operations. Second. Object. Promote honey and the quality of this natural product. Third: Requirements. 1. Comply with the rules of this Call. 2. Individual or associated beekeepers with an exploitation code with honey from bees (Apis mellifera) who comply with the current quality standard for honey and who have sent their documentation to be received before November 22, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. may participate. (Deadline for receipt). 3. Two 500 g jars will be sent for each participating honey sample. 4. The honey must be 100% of Spanish origin and have been collected in the last campaign. 5. Containers must be made of glass. One of them without any type of identification of the producer (it will be the one the jury works with) and another labeled (this will be exhibited during the Fair). 6. If more than one honey is sent, the bottles must be labeled with numbers that correspond to the references of the types of honey recorded in the data. You must do it with a permanent marker or label. Room. Amount. A prize will be awarded to each of the following categories: 1. Clear honeys. Up to 40 mm Depth. 2. Amber honeys. From 40.1 to 79.9 mm Depth. 3. Dark honeys. From 80 mm Depth. The awards will consist of a plaque and certificate proving the award for each category. Fifth. Application submission deadline. Until November 22, 2024. Sixth. Other data. The producer can specify in which category he wants his honey to participate; The final categorization will be the responsibility of the organizers.
