Extract from the call: By Agreement of the Island Government Council, held in ordinary session, on November 18, 2024, the “EARLY CALL FOR SUBSIDIES OF THE COUNCIL OF THE PRIMARY SECTOR, FOOD SOVEREIGNTY AND WATER SECURITY OF THE COUNCIL OF GRAN CANARIA FOR THE PROMOTION OF AGRICULTURE OF GRAN CANARIA” was approved 2025-2026 "An Optional Appeal for Reinstatement may be filed against the publication of the aforementioned Agreement before the Island Government Council, within a period of ONE (1) MONTH counting from the day following its publication in the Official Gazette of the Province, or failing that, and within a period of TWO (2) MONTHS, counted in the same way, directly file a Contentious-Administrative Appeal before the Court of the Contentious-Administrative Court of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Recipient: Natural or legal persons who own agricultural holdings in which the general and specific requirements of the call meet may qualify for the status of beneficiary of this subsidy. Purpose: The purpose of this call is to regulate the procedure for granting subsidies under a competitive competition regime, for the strategic actions called Action 1: Improvements in agricultural facilities and machinery; Action 2: Recovery of disused lands; Action 3: Incorporation and initial maintenance of agricultural activity. Regulatory Bases: General Ordinance of Subsidies of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria. Amount: 1,618,000.00 euros. Deadline for submitting applications: The deadline for submitting applications will be counted from the day following the day on which the extract of this call is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Las Palmas, and will end as detailed below: - For the year 2025 until January 17, 2025. - For the year 2026 until November 30, 2025.
