Extract from the decree, of January 31, 2025, of the Presidency of the Autonomous Public Health Body of the Provincial Council of Girona, of the call for subsidies to promote international development cooperation (COOP), for the year 2025. BDNS (Identif.): In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Grants, the extract of the call is published, the full text can be consulted in the national grants database (http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans): First. Beneficiary Can apply for the subsidies object of this call that correspond to line 1: subsidies for international development cooperation: ? Non-profit development aid organizations. ? Non-profit entities, which in their statutes identify international cooperation as the entity's work object. The recipient organizations and entities must have their headquarters and/or permanent delegation in the Girona regions, be actively involved in solidarity activities and international cooperation and, in addition, meet the conditions specified in the regulatory bases. Second. Purpose The purpose of this call is to regulate the economic support program for non-profit entities that work in the field of international development cooperation, in accordance with the specific regulatory bases published in the Girona BOP No. 86, of May 4, 2023. Specifically, the line of promotion of international development cooperation is aimed at cooperation projects that transversally address the following sustainable development objectives adopted by the General Assembly of the Nations United, hereinafter SDG: ? Eradicate poverty in all its forms, guarantee food security, availability of water, sanitation and energy, following criteria of social, economic and environmental sustainability. (SDG 1,2 and 7.) ? Promote full and productive employment and decent work for everyone. (SDG 8.) ? Promote equity between people, paying special attention to groups in more vulnerable situations due to gender, ethnicity, religion, age, etc. (SDG 5.) ? Ensure inclusive, equitable, quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all. (SDG 4.) ? Strengthen institutions so that they are effective, accountable and inclusive at all levels. (SDG 16.) Those projects that work for the fundamental rights of life and the sociocultural development of the areas in which the actions take place will be prioritized, especially those related to: a) Right to food, water and health (linked to SDGs 2, 6 and 3 respectively). b) Right to education (linked to SDG 4). c) Right to participation in the social and cultural life of the community (linked to SDG 11). The procedure for granting subsidies is competitive competition. One grant will be awarded per applicant per year. The eligible period is from October 1, 2024 to September 30, 2025. Third. Regulatory bases Published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Girona, number 86, of May 4, 2023. Fourth. Amount The maximum total amount allocated to this call is one hundred and eighty thousand euros (€180,000.00), distributed as follows: -CC - Coop promotion programme. int. human rights and poverty: €100,000.00. -CC - Coop development programme. int. human rights and poverty: €80,000.00. Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications The deadline for submitting applications for the first procedure will begin the day following the publication of the extract of this call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Girona and will end on March 12, 2025. Sixth. Other information Applications must necessarily be submitted by electronic registration, in accordance with article 14.2 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations, within the period established in the call, and signed by the legal representative of the entity. To submit the application it will be necessary to complete the specific form available at the Dipsalut electronic office (www.dipsalut.cat). The application must be attached: Line 1, for international cooperation subsidies.
