DESIERTA RESOLUTION, of February 13, 2025, of the Rector of the University of Granada by which the XIX Andalusian Research Prize on European Integration of the European Information Network of Andalusia is announced

Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries. Participation in the call may be made by one or more researchers who, at the time of submission of the work, have a demonstrable connection with an Andalusian entity or who, having been born in Andalusia, carry out their research work at a university, institute or research center. Second. Object. To call, on a competitive basis, the “XIX Andalusian Prize for Research on European Integration”. The purpose of the Award is to promote research work on the different aspects of the European integration process carried out by: • Andalusian researchers from universities. • Researchers linked to research centers or other types of public entities in Andalusia. Third. Amount. The prize will consist of a financial award of 1,500 euros, an accreditation diploma and the publication of the work with the mention of the prize obtained by the European Information Network of Andalusia. The prize will be subject to the withholdings and taxes stipulated by current applicable legislation, which will be deducted from the corresponding financial award. The amount of the prize will be paid to the winner by means of a nominative check charged to the budget application 30SJ250001 541A 78 of the European Documentation Center of the University of Granada. Room. Application submission deadline. It will begin the day after the publication of the extract of the call in the Official Gazette of the Junta de Andalucía and will end on April 30, 2025. Fifth. Job requirements. The following types of work may be eligible for the award: · Research work, individual or collective. · Master's theses presented after January 1, 2022. · Doctoral theses presented or read after January 1, 2022. In the case of research works presented by research teams under the direction of a principal or responsible researcher, they may participate as long as they have completed their research work and presented the corresponding report. In these cases, the main researcher and at least half of the researchers must comply with the requirement contemplated in the first basis of the call. The works must be original, unpublished and not in the process of publication. They must not have obtained any other award with similar characteristics and must be written in Spanish. The works must meet the following conditions for admission: a) Presentation in electronic format in PDF format, Times New Roman font, size 12 and line spacing 1.5. b) Have a minimum length of 100 A4 pages and a maximum of 300 A4 pages. Each work will be accompanied by a summary, no longer than 15 A4 pages, in PDF format, Times New Roman font, size 12 and 1.5 line spacing in which the content of the research will be explained in abbreviated form. Anonymity of the works and summaries presented. They will be presented anonymously, and should not contain personal, institutional information or any other element that allows the author to be identified, including the embedding of metadata in the electronic file.
