Official description of the call
First: Beneficiary entities 1. Non-profit institutions that meet the following requirements may be beneficiary entities: Be a NGDO that is registered in the Registry of Non-Governmental Development Organizations of the Principality of Asturias on the date of submission of the application and has communicated any modification of the data or documents that affect the entries included in article 4.3 of Decree 270/2007, of November 14, by which The operation and form of access to that registry are regulated. Beneficiary entities may also be those that are registered in the Registry of Associations under the Organic Law 1/2002, of March 22, regulating the right of association or, in the case of Foundations, in the corresponding Registry of Foundations, on the date of submission of the subsidy application, provided that cooperation and education for development is included in their statutes as one of their objectives, they have their headquarters in the Principality of Asturias and prove at least three years of experience in carrying out projects in this area in Asturias. 2. Those in which any of the circumstances provided for in sections 2 and 3 of article 13 of the LGS occur will not be able to obtain the status of beneficiary entities of the subsidies regulated in these bases. Second: Purpose The purpose of this call is to grant financial aid, on a competitive basis, for the implementation of education for development and awareness-raising projects by 2025, in the following lines of action: a), INSTRUMENT A.- Projects that promote educational processes that promote a better understanding of the problems that affect developing countries, generate a positive attitude towards them and stimulate solidarity and cooperation active with them. These projects may be carried out in the field of formal, non-formal and informal education. b), INSTRUMENT B.- Specific awareness-raising actions, interventions aimed at raising awareness of society as a whole or certain sectors in particular that promote attitudes of solidarity commitment and that are based on the organization of conferences, meetings, exhibitions, conferences, film series, publications, teaching resources or any other intervention with similar characteristics. The formulation of an intervention that entails several of the actions described in this section will be considered a specific action, even if they are planned in different periods throughout the intervention schedule, and that are not part of a development education process. Third: Regulatory bases Resolution of the Ministry of the Presidency and Citizen Participation, of July 3, 2018 (BOPA no. 156 of July 6) modified by Resolution, of first modification, of March 12, 2019 (BOPA no. 54 of March 19) and by Resolution, of second modification of June 29, 2020 (BOPA no. 129, of July 6). Fourth: Amount The maximum global aid budget is €400,000.00, distributed into €350,000.00 for Instrument A and €50,000.00 for Instrument B. The maximum amount of each subsidy may not exceed €18,000.00 for Instrument A or €6,000.00 for Instrument B. Fifth: Submission period 15 business days from the day following the publication of this extract in the Official Gazette of the Principality of Asturias.
