FEBRUARY 6, 2025 OF THE DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL RIGHTS AND WELFARE APPROVING THE CALL FOR GRANTS FOR HUMANITARIAN ACTION PROJECTS 2025

Official description of the call

First: Beneficiary entities Non-profit organizations that meet the following requirements may be beneficiary entities: - Accredit capacity to carry out the project, being able to do so through one of these two alternatives: or, Accredit specific experience in humanitarian and emergency aid actions during four of the last six years prior to the date of publication of the call with a minimum of 6 actions. or, That they are registered in the NGDO Registry of the Principality of Asturias and in the event of an emergency situation, the requesting entity or its counterpart is present in the intervention area, has continuous infrastructure (or personnel) in the country in which the emergency occurs and presents a report in which it justifies its capacity to participate in the humanitarian tasks that are required, accrediting its relationship with the counterpart with a minimum of four projects developed. - Have duly justified the expenses corresponding to the subsidies, due and due, previously granted by the Autonomous Community. - Be up to date with tax and Social Security obligations and not be indebted to the Treasury of the Principality of Asturias for liquid and enforceable debts. - Not be subject to any of the prohibitions included in sections 2 and 3 of article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies. Second: Object Granting of economic aid, on a competitive basis, for the implementation of humanitarian action projects, which aim to: -,,Protect and save lives of populations in situations of acute or chronic crisis: provide the necessary assistance to populations affected by complex emergencies, chronic, sustained and recurrent crises, especially when these populations cannot be helped by their own authorities or in the absence of any authority. -,,Prevent and alleviate human suffering: foresee, anticipate, predict and prepare for possible disasters, increase the capacity to respond to them and avoid the emergence or worsening of a conflict and its consequences for the civilian population if it has already occurred. -,,Attend to the immediate basic needs of these populations. -,,Promote their rights, from an approach based on reducing vulnerability and strengthening capacities and resilience. -,,Stop the decomposition of the economic and social fabric, as well as lay the foundations for rehabilitation and future development through actions aimed at short-term post-crisis rehabilitation and preparation for possible crises. Third: Regulatory bases Resolution of the Ministry of the Presidency, of December 14, 2020, which approves the regulatory bases for subsidies for the execution of humanitarian action projects, (BOPA no. 1 of January 4, 2021). Fourth: Amount The maximum global aid budget is €325,000. The maximum amount of each subsidy may not exceed €50,000. Fifth: Presentation period 20 business days, counting from the day following the publication of this extract in the Official Gazette of the Principality of Asturias.
