Official description of the call
First: Beneficiary entities Non-Governmental Organizations and Associations that meet the following requirements may be beneficiary entities: - Be legally constituted as such on the date of submission of the application, have its headquarters in the Principality of Asturias and have as one of its objectives, included in its statutes, the promotion of equality between women and men and/or the defense and promotion of women's rights. - Have as a counterpart or local partner (Local organization from Southern countries with which organizations with headquarters in Asturias collaborate; entities that execute the project on the ground) an organization that meets the following requirements: 1) That it is a women's organization that considers as the main mission of the entity the promotion of the rights of women and/or girls, that work from a feminist and/or women's rights perspective. 2º) That it has been legally established two years before the submission of the application and has experience in the execution of at least four projects in one of the lines provided for in the previous base. Second: Purpose Granting of financial aid, under a competitive competition regime, for the implementation of empowerment projects and promotion and defense of women's rights by 2025, in the following lines of action: LINE 1- Projects for the political and social empowerment of women. LINE 2- Projects to defend the rights of women in situations of special vulnerability and that contribute to the eradication of violence against women Third: Regulatory bases Resolution of the Ministry of the Presidency and Citizen Participation, of November 20, 2017, which approves the regulatory bases for subsidies for the execution of projects for the empowerment and promotion and defense of women's rights, (BOPA no. 282 of December 7) modified by Resolution, of June 29, 2020, of first modification (BOPA no. 129 of July 6). Fourth: Amount The maximum global aid budget is €700,000.00, distributed into €350,000.00 for each of the two Lines. The maximum amount of each subsidy may not exceed €100,000.00 in both Lines, nor exceed ninety percent (90%) of the project cost. Fifth: Submission period 15 business days, counting from the day following the publication of this extract in the Official Gazette of the Principality of Asturias.
