First. Beneficiaries. Companies or self-employed persons, regardless of their legal form and size, that are validly incorporated at the time of submission of the application and are holders of an economic activity in Cantabria and meet the rest of the requirements established below may obtain the status of beneficiary person. In the case of companies, the date of incorporation and the start of the eligible activity to be carried out must be equal to or after January 1, 2021. In the case of individual entrepreneurs (self-employed), the eligible activity to be carried out must have started on a date equal to or after January 1, 2021. In both cases, to determine the start date of the eligible activity, the date of registration of said activity in form 036 of the AEAT will be taken into account. Second. Object. The EMPLEA 2025 line of subsidies aims to encourage and support the incorporation of stable personnel (hiring people with vocational training degrees, a university degree or a grade 3 professional certificate) to recently created companies in Cantabria, given that these constitute the main asset to contribute to the development of the regional business fabric and the economic growth of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria. The Program, in addition to assisting in the creation of new companies, also aims to promote the growth and consolidation of the activity of recently created small and medium-sized companies in Cantabria. All of this, with the aim of offering a comprehensive service to people promoting new business initiatives. Third. Regulatory bases. Order IND/13/2023, of February 15, which establishes the regulatory bases of the line of subsidies of the EMPLEA program, published in the Official Gazette of Cantabria number 41 on February 28, 2023, modified by Order IND/4/2024, of March 8, published on March 21, 2024 in the Official Gazette of Cantabria number 58. https://boc.cantabria.es/boces/verAnuncioAction.do?idAnuBlob=385949https://boc.cantabria.es/boces/verAnuncioAction.do?idAnuBlob=401261 Fourth. Amount. The maximum intensity granted will be 70% of the total eligible budget (first 12 months of hiring), with a maximum of €20,000 per application, provided that these are full-time contracts (in the case of part-time contracts, the annual gross salary will be proportional to the number of hours established in the contract). Fifth. Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will be four months from the day following the publication of the extract of the call in the Official Gazette of Cantabria. It may be submitted until 11:59 p.m. on the day the deadline ends if the application is submitted electronically or until 2:00 p.m. if it is submitted in person. Sixth. Other data. Each applicant entity may submit a maximum of two applications in this call, as long as it has not already been a beneficiary on two occasions in the different calls for this help line.
