Universidad Rey Juan Carlos RESOLUTION OF MARCH 19, 2025 BY THE RECTOR OF THE REY JUAN CARLOS UNIVERSITY WHICH APPROVES AND MAKES PUBLIC THE CALL FOR THE SECOND EDITION OF THE “GLORIA FUERTES AWARDS – URJC” FOR END OF DEGREE, END OF MASTER'S THESIS AND DOCTORAL THESES RELATED TO STUDIES WITH PERSPECTIVE OF GENDER, SEXUAL DIVERSITY AND ORIGIN FROM THE REY JUAN CARLOS UNIVERSITY. BDNS: 821837 Extract from the Resolution of March 19, 2025 by which the call for the Second Edition of the “Gloria Fuertes-URJC Awards” is made public for final degree projects, final master's degrees, and doctoral theses related to studies with a gender perspective, sexual diversity and by origin of the Rey Juan Carlos University In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of the Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans/index): First: Beneficiaries: This call is aimed at URJC students. General Requirements: Have defended the work (TFG, TFM or Doctoral Thesis) during the year 2024 (calendar year) at the Rey Juan Carlos University, provided that the work has been graded with a minimum grade of 8.5 in the case of TFG and TFM, and outstanding in the case of Doctoral Theses. Have written the work in Spanish or English. They will be accepted in other languages ​​as long as the original version is presented accompanied by the translated one. In the case of group work, the prize will be distributed equally among the people who have participated in the work. People who attend must decide whether to opt for the equality or diversity category. Your presentation in both categories will be grounds for exclusion from both. The same work cannot be submitted to the 2025 Call for Awards for the best TFG, TFM and doctoral theses related to the sustainable development objectives (SDG) of the Rey Juan Carlos University. Your presentation in both calls will be grounds for exclusion from both. Those who meet any of the circumstances listed in article 13.2 of Law 38/2003, General Subsidies, will not be able to obtain the status of beneficiary. Other Requirements: Information about the author of the work presented: They must complete the required personal information. Summary of the work with a maximum length of 1000 words. Job details. They must complete the required work data and include a copy in .pdf format of the TFG, TFM or Doctoral Thesis, with a maximum size of 1GB. The works must be anonymized before uploading them to the platform. That is, any aspect that allows the author to be identified must be eliminated. Justification. The relevance of the topics discussed in the work must be justified with an extension of between 1000 and 2000 words, in accordance with the criteria included in Document Annex V. Signed responsible declaration. (Document Annex III) that proves: Being up to date with tax and Social Security obligations. Be up to date with the payment of obligations for reimbursement of other subsidies. Not be subject to any of the prohibitions contained in article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies. The commitment to maintain these requirements during the period of time inherent to the recognition of the right to collect the subsidy. Additional documentation in the case of group work: The co-authors of a group work must formalize a single joint request in the electronic office, along with a single copy of the work carried out, and incorporate in the Optional Documentation field a Responsible Declaration signed by each author (Document Annex III) and the signed Co-author Conformity Model (Document Annex IV). Second: Object. The purpose of this call is to encourage and promote at the URJC knowledge related to equality between women and men, sexual and gender diversity, ethnic-cultural diversity and origin, through Final Degree Projects (TFG), Final Master's Projects (TFM) and Doctoral Theses. To this end, prizes will be awarded on a competitive basis to undergraduate, master's and doctoral students whose work they carry out.
