RULES AND CALL FOR DIRECT AID IN KIND FOR THE PROMOTION AND SUPPORT OF BIRTHDAYS 2025

Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries and requirements Those people who are Parents of a minor born between January 1, 2025 and December 31, 2025 may be beneficiaries of this aid. Adopters, declared in custody for adoption purposes or who permanently foster one or more minors, provided that the constitution of the adoption, the declaration of custody for adoption purposes or permanent family foster care takes place between January 1 2025 and December 31, 2025. The requirements to be able to apply for aid are as follows: All members of the family unit must be registered with the Lalín City Council at the time of submitting the application and remain registered for the two years following the granting of the aid. This requirement will be verified ex officio by the investigating body of the procedure and non-compliance will result in the reimbursement of the aid received. The minor who is entitled to the aid must also be registered with the Lalín City Council at the time of submitting the application. A family unit will be understood to be formed by the parent(s), or the parent and the spouse or person with a similar emotional relationship, together with: 1st. Minor daughters and sons, unless, with the consent of the father/mother, they live independently. 2nd. Daughters and sons of legal age with judicial measures to support people with disabilities 3rd. Daughters and sons over eighteen years of age with a degree of disability greater than 33 percent. 4th. Minors and adopted minors, in foster care for adoption purposes or in permanent family foster care. In the case of divorce or legal separation of the mother and father, the person who does not live with the minor will not be considered a computable member, except in cases of shared custody. If the applicant is a foreigner, he or she will also have to comply with the provisions of LO 4/2000, of January 11, on the rights and freedoms of foreigners in Spain and their social integration. Second. Purpose The purpose of these bases is to regulate the granting of direct aid in kind to those families that during the year 2025 have a son or daughter, adopt, are declared in foster care for adoption purposes or permanently host minors who qualify for aid. The purpose of this aid is to promote and support births in the Lalín City Council, helping to alleviate the cost associated with raising sons and daughters, at least in the early stages. Third. Regulatory bases Regulatory bases and call for extraordinary direct aid in kind for the promotion and support of births published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Pontevedra (BOPPO) of March 24, 2025 Fourth. Amount Given that the aid regulated under these bases is aid in kind, the goods must be acquired to be delivered and the acquisition expense will be charged to budget application 231/48918/01 up to a maximum amount of 10,000 euros, corresponding to the budget of the Lalín City Council for the year 2025. The aid will consist of a batch of childcare products with an acquisition value of 120 euros VAT included. Each minor born, adopted, in custody for adoption purposes or fostered will be entitled to a single aid in favor of the applicant. Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications The deadline for submitting applications will be open throughout the year 2025. For those births, adoptions, foster care for adoption purposes or permanent foster care that occur in the month of December 2025, the deadline will be open until January 20, 2026.
