Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries Natural or legal persons from the private initiative who meet the following conditions may be beneficiaries of the aid: a) Have legal residence or be an entity based in Menorca. b) Organize eligible activities. In the event that the activity is carried out by a natural or legal person other than the organizer, the aid application must be submitted by the organizer. c) Submit the responsible declaration to the Island Council of Menorca provided for in article 45 of Decree 23/2018, of July 6, by which various aspects of the youth and leisure regulations are developed. The Island Council of Menorca must review compliance with this requirement ex officio. Second. Purpose The purpose of the aid is to compensate the people and entities organizing specific children's and youth leisure activities in Menorca for the costs of hiring additional monitors to care for participating children and young people with a recognized degree of dependency and/or disability, and also to grant aid to compensate for the participation costs of these minors borne by their families. Third. Regulatory bases The call will be governed by the regulatory bases approved by the Executive Council of the Island Council of Menorca, in an ordinary session on March 17, 2025. Fourth. Amount The maximum global amount of the call is €100,000 (one hundred thousand euros), broken down as follows: Line 1 Hiring additional monitor staff. €80,000 Line 2 Participation of minors with disabilities or dependency. €20,000 Fifth. Application submission period The application submission period will begin on September 1, 2025 and will end on September 30, 2025. Sixth. Other information The maximum amounts that can be granted on line 1 are a maximum of: - €1,461/month gross for each person hired full-time as an educational leisure monitor, or the proportional part. If the hiring is less than a calendar month, a subsidy of 48.7 euros per person hired per day will be granted. - €1,986/month gross for each person hired full-time, or the proportional part, with a job category corresponding to an official qualification available, which includes the professional qualifications provided for in the fourth base of the aid, section "Requirements of line 1", third point. If the hiring is less than a calendar month, a subsidy of 66 euros per person hired per day will be granted. - €2,153/month gross for each person hired full-time, or the proportional part, with a job category corresponding to an official degree qualification provided for in the fourth base of the aid, section "Requirements of line 1", third point of the aid. If the hiring is less than a calendar month, a subsidy of 72 euros per person hired per day will be granted. The maximum amounts that can be granted on line 2 are a maximum of €450 for each minor and calendar month participating in the educational leisure activity with a recognized degree of dependency or a degree of disability equal to or greater than 33%. If participation is less than a calendar month, a maximum subsidy of €22/day will be granted, with a maximum of €450 per person per calendar month. The same applicant can receive aid for each of lines 1 and 2. The educational leisure activity must take place in Menorca between December 16, 2024 and September 15, 2025.
