Rey Juan Carlos University Resolution dated March 25, 2025 of the Rector of the Rey Juan Carlos University, calling for Aid for Psychological Care, financed by the Community of Madrid, aimed at students of the Rey Juan Carlos University in the 2024-25 academic year. In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the Call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database: http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans/index First: Beneficiaries The recipients of this aid will be the students enrolled at the Rey Juan Carlos University in university studies leading to official bachelor's, master's or doctoral degrees in the 2024-2025 academic year. To obtain the aid object of this call, the beneficiaries must meet the requirements established therein, as well as obtain a priority coefficient for their right that places them within the aid that is definitively awarded through the Resolution granting the call. General Requirements: a) Possess Spanish nationality or that of another country of the European Union. Non-EU foreign students must prove the status of legal resident in Spain as of December 31, 2024. Those who are staying for studies (student permit) are excluded from this call. b)Have enrolled, during the 2024-25 academic year in centers of the Rey Juan Carlos University in university studies leading to official Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate degrees, and have not abandoned said studies before their completion. Must remain enrolled at the beginning of psychological treatment. c) Not having obtained or being in a position to obtain any financial aid for the same purpose from other public or private entities, for the academic year of this call. d) Exceptionally, students who, having been subject to protection measures, particularly in residential care, reach the age of majority and are outside the protection system will be exempt from the aforementioned documentary justification, as well as those students who prove that they are people with international protection status in Spain, including applicants for international protection with authorization to stay who are in the transitional period of acquisition, in accordance with the provisions of Law 12/2009, of 30 October, regulator of the right of asylum and subsidiary protection. Regarding the latter (applicants for international protection with authorization to stay), the requirement provided for in section a) of this article will not be required. These requirements must be met from the submission of the application until the completion of the treatment. Economic Requirements: Family income: For the calculation of family income, members of the family unit are eligible, in addition to the applicant himself: If the applicant does NOT constitute an independent family unit: The father and mother of the applicant, the guardian or person in charge of the custody and protection of the minor (main breadwinners). Single siblings under twenty-five years of age, or older siblings in the case of people with disabilities. The ancestors of the parents. If the applicant constitutes an independent family unit: His or her spouse or person united by a similar relationship. Children under 25 years of age and older children with disabilities. The ascendants of the applicant and/or his or her partner. To be considered a eligible member, they must reside in the same family home from January 1, 2023 until the date of submission of the application, and prove it through the registration certificate. Income exempt from tax will be included in the income of the family unit. To calculate family income, the provisions established in threshold 4 corresponding to an increase of 8% with respect to the maximum family income thresholds established in RD 201/2024, of February 27, pa will be applied.
