Official description of the call
BDNS (Identif.): ________ In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans/index): First. Beneficiaries: Natural persons who are self-employed professionals (corresponding to the Special Regime for Self-Employed Workers of Social Security) and who have tax residence in Spain may be beneficiaries of this aid, as well as private cultural entities, for-profit or not, that have legally constituted legal personality and registered in the corresponding public registry. In both cases, they must meet the rest of the requirements established in the call. Groups of natural or legal persons that lack their own legal personality are excluded, such as communities of property or any other type of economic unit or separate assets, as well as Public Administrations, their autonomous bodies, public companies and other public entities. Applicants must have as their activity and corporate purpose, solely or among others, carrying out activities to promote reading, books and cultural publications. Second. Purpose: The purpose of the Order is to establish the call for aid to promote reading and strengthen the book industry for the year 2025. Third. Regulatory bases: Order 180/2024, of February 2, of the Minister of Culture, Tourism and Sports (BOCM no. 42 of February 19, 2024). Room. Amount: €300,000. Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications: Fifteen business days counted from the day following the publication of this extract in the Official Gazette of the Community of Madrid. Sixth. Relations between the Community of Madrid and interested parties: 1. The Administration will interact electronically with interested parties, so notifications will be made through electronic means. For this purpose, the applicant is required to be registered in the Telematic Notifications service of the Community of Madrid, available in the Digital Administration of the Community of Madrid: https://sede.comunidad.madrid/. 2. The successive notifications, relative to the acts that make up the concession procedure, will be published in the Digital Administration of the Community of Madrid: https://sede.comunidad.madrid/. Seventh. Justification and payment: 1. The aid will be paid to the beneficiaries as an advance on account, being conditional on the existence of adequate and sufficient credit, and in accordance with the liquid provisions of the Treasury, the constitution of a guarantee not being necessary, and once the documentation required in the Call Order has been provided and the obligation to be up to date in compliance with tax and Social Security obligations has been proven. 2. Beneficiaries must present supporting documentation for the subsidy and other required documentation within a maximum period of three months from the completion of the eligible project, respecting in all cases the maximum execution period established in Provision Four of the call. For these purposes, beneficiaries must communicate the estimated start and end date by duly completing Annex II. If the project had been carried out prior to the date of granting the aid, the period of three months will count from the date of publication of said grant.
