GC call for incentives for hiring unemployed people in a situation of unemployment belonging to groups that are difficult to insert

Official description of the call

Extract from the call: OBJECT: The purpose of this call is to promote the hiring of unemployed people from groups with difficult job placement by establishing incentives for their employment through the following contractual modalities: Indefinite contract, alternating training contract and training contract to obtain professional practice, with the requirements indicated in provisions 4 and 5. BENEFICIARY ENTITIES: Any natural person may be a beneficiary of this subsidy. (self-employed) or commercial entity with its own legal personality, as well as the cooperative societies referred to in Law 4/2022, of October 31, on Cooperative Societies of the Canary Islands, legally constituted, with entirely private capital, that have a center and workplace on the island of Gran Canaria for the hiring of personnel to carry out their tasks in those work centers and that meet the rest of the requirements demanded in this call. For these purposes, self-employed workers who meet the requirements of Law 20/2007, of July 11, on the Statute of Self-Employment, will be considered natural persons. The entities must comply with the requirements indicated in article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General of Subsidies and in point 6 of the General Ordinance of Subsidies of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria. Contract requirements: Contracts subject to subsidy must simultaneously meet the following conditions: - The contract must have been formalized from January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025 and be in force on the date of the subsidy application. The maximum period for formalizing the contract may be after December 31, 2025 for the case provided for in provision 10, when the subsidized company opts to replace the initially hired worker. The contract of the worker being replaced must be in force on the date of submission of Annex IV referred to in this call. - The work center and the workplace must be located in Gran Canaria during the entire minimum maintenance period of the contract, established in provision 5.1.5. - Contractual modality that may be subject to subsidy: a) Indefinite Contract. b) Alternation Training Contract. c) Training Contract for Obtaining Professional Practice. - The hiring must be carried out full-time. The reduction of the working day during the minimum maintenance period of the contract will give rise to the full refund of the subsidy granted as established in provision 20.1.c, except in the cases included in provision 9.1. - Subsidized contracts must have the following minimum duration of maintenance of the contract, which will count from the date of registration in the Social Security of the worker who is the subject of the subsidized contract: a) Indefinite Contracts: Twelve months. b) Alternation Training Contracts: Six months. c) Training Contract to Obtain Professional Practice: Six months. Failure to maintain the required minimum contract period will give rise to a full refund of the subsidy granted as established in provision 20.1.a, except for the cases included in provisions 9.2 and 10.1. - Requirements of unemployed people to be hired New employment contracts that are formalized with unemployed people who meet the following requirements may be subject to subsidy: 1. Be residents in Gran Canaria on the date of registration with Social Security. 2. Be unemployed for at least the month prior to the date of registration with Social Security. 3. Not having had an indefinite employment relationship in the six (6) months immediately prior to the contract that is the subject of this subsidy with the applicant entity or with entities linked to it, understood as such, those entities that belong to the same business group or that maintain a relationship of control or significant influence between them in accordance with the provisions of article 18.2 of Law 27/2014, of November 27, on Corporate Tax. 4. Belong to any of the following groups that are difficult to find work placement: a) Job seekers in their own right
