Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries: Municipalities of the province of León with a population of less than 20,000 inhabitants may obtain beneficiary status. Second. Purpose: In accordance with the powers of the Provincial Councils in matters of youth, regulated in article 10.2 of Law 11/2002, of July 10, on Youth of Castilla y León, this call, newly created, aims to grant subsidies, on a competitive basis, to City Councils of the province of León, with a population of less than 20,000 inhabitants, to finance programs for equipping youth spaces municipal, during the period between January 1, 2025 and September 30, 2025. Third. Regulatory regulations: The subsidies object of this Call will be governed, in addition to the provisions of these Bases, by the provisions of the General Regulatory Bases for the granting of subsidies under a competitive competition regime of the Provincial Council of León, approved by agreement of the Plenary Session of February 27, 2008 and published in BOP No. 45/2008, of March 5 (hereinafter BGS). Likewise, the provisions of the OGS and Law 38/2003, of November 17, General of Subsidies, in the Regulation that develops it, and in the remaining administrative law rules will apply, failing which the private law rules will apply. Room. Amount: This call has a total amount of thirty thousand euros (€30,000.00). The individually awarded subsidy will be for a maximum amount of €1,875.00 for each of the 16 beneficiary City Councils that obtain the highest score in the assessment of the objective criteria established in the Ninth Base, taking into account the characteristics of the municipality and the municipal services that exist in matters of youth. For these purposes, the maximum amount of the subsidy to be awarded may in no case exceed 90% of the final cost presented. Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications: 20 business days counted from the day following the date of publication of the extract of the Call in the Official Gazette of the Province of León. Sixth. Other information: Applications must be submitted through the Electronic Headquarters of the Provincial Council of León, through the Subsidy Request for Equipment for Youth Spaces process, year 2025, of the Provincial Council of León, located in the "Catalogue of Procedures", and the Scope "Services related to City Councils" must be selected. and the Area "Aid and subsidies", with a responsible declaration (Annex I) and explanatory project (Annex II) must be attached. The beneficiary may contract subsidized works or supplies with third parties at a percentage that may reach 100%, upon compliance with the conditions established in article 29 of the LGS. These subsidies are compatible with other aid granted to the Entity for the same purpose by Public Administrations other than the Provincial Council of León, but in no case will they be of such an amount that, alone or in conjunction with such aid, they exceed the cost of the subsidized activity.
