TEXT OF THE CALL UNDER THE BASES FOR THE GRANTING OF BAGS FOR ATHLETES UNDER THE REGIME OF COMPETITIVE COMPETITION FOR THE YEAR 2025 REGULATORY BASES. (Art. 23.2.a) Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies; hereinafter LXS) This call will be governed by the REGULATORY BASES FOR THE GRANTING OF BAGS FOR ATHLETES UNDER THE REGIME OF COMPETITIVE COMPETITION, approved by the Plenary Session of the Corporation in an ordinary session on March 27, 2025 and the full text published in the Official Gazette of the province on April 10, 2025. CREDIT BUDGETARY. (Art. 23.2.b LXS) The amounts allocated are the amounts recorded in the regular budget for the year 2025, amounting to a total of €20,000.00 charged to item 341,481.00. OBJECT. (Art. 23.2.c LXS) The purpose of this corresponding call is the promotion and promotion of sport, supporting activities carried out in the Arteixo City Council this year by athletes who practice sports on an individual basis, understanding all sports that, according to its regulations, are practiced by one or two athletes at most. The Arteixo City Council, within its powers to promote Sports, is aware of the difficulties that many individual athletes have in being able to carry out their training and competitions, due to the high cost of travel, federation licenses, equipment..., and for this reason it considers it necessary to approve a line of aid to individual athletes that has the character of bags. Specifically, these bags are called to support Arteixo athletes practicing individual sports such as (swimming, paddle tennis, lifesaving, triathlon, judo, skating, archery, cycling, motor sports, athletics, mountaineering, surfing...), as a means of supporting and promoting Arteixo sports and, in this way, achieving sporting achievements representing the Arteixo City Council. Therefore, individual athletes from Arteixa who, by proving initial quality and a special dedication to sporting activity, predict a future projection for high-competition sport will be eligible for the bags. The aid covered by this call will be aimed at consolidating the progression of athletes' performance. It is the duty of the beneficiaries to submit to the verification actions, to be carried out by the granting body, as well as to any other verification and financial control that may be carried out by the competent control bodies, both national and community, attaching all the information required in the exercise of the above actions. PROCEDURE. (Art. 23.2.d LXS) The procedure for granting the subsidies provided for in this call will comply with the competitive bidding procedure in accordance with that established in articles 9a) and 10a) of Municipal Ordinance number 26 for the granting of municipal subsidies; in articles 20, 21, 22, 23 and 24 of Law 9/2007, of June 13, on subsidies of Galicia, consistent with articles 23,24,25 and 26 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, general on subsidies. REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY FOR THE GRANT. (Art. 23.2.and LXS) Artistic athletes from individual sports who, by accrediting initial quality and a special dedication to sporting activity, predict a future projection for high-competition sport will be eligible for this call for subsidies. Applicants must meet the following requirements: Persons registered with the Arteixo City Council, with a minimum seniority of two consecutive years, at the time of the application. Athletes in individual sports who stand out for their results in official regional, national or international competitions in the two seasons prior to the current one, except for master's or similar competitions, since these are categories that are excluded from these bags. Athletes in possession of a federation license issued or processed by the corresponding sports federation (master or similar licenses will not be valued). Athletes between 12-30 years of age or to be in the year of the call (both included). Compete, in the season of the application, in sporting events/tests of regional, national or international relevance organized or recognized by the respective federations.
