Official description of the call
The Vielha e Mijaran City Council, by agreement of the Local Government Board dated March 26, 2025, approves the Call for subsidies for the financial year 2025. Regulatory regulations Specific regulatory bases of the call for the granting of subsidies of the Vielha e Mijaran City Council for the financial year 2025, approved by Agreement of the Local Government Board of March 26, 2025. Budget credit The total amount of the subsidies granted may not exceed the amount of credit available in the budget applications that for this concept have been provided for in the current General Budget of the City Council for the financial year 2025. Object, conditions and purpose The object of the call is the granting of aid to subsidize expenses derived from the organization of events and activities related to sports, music, culture, youth, social services, tourism, festivals, education, cooperation and others, in accordance with the provisions of article 6. of the General Ordinance Regulating Subsidies of the City of Vielha e Mijaran (BOP no. 115 of June 14, 2018), which are carried out from December 1, 2024 to November 30, 2025 (inclusive), with the exception of those activities that are carried out in relation to the school year (article 15 General Ordinance Regulating Subsidies of the City Council). Requirements of beneficiaries to apply for the subsidy The possible beneficiaries of the call for subsidies for the 2024 financial year are the natural or legal persons, public or private, included in article 5 of the General Ordinance Regulating Subsidies of the Vielha e Mijaran City Council, provided that they meet the requirements set out in article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies. Competent bodies for the investigation and resolution of the procedure The managing body of the subsidy granting procedure opened by this call is the Local Government Board of the Vielha e Mijaran City Council, assisted by a Qualifying Commission. Deadline for submitting applications The deadline for submitting applications and the rest of the documentation indicated in the general regulatory bases will be 30 calendar days from the day following the publication of the call, in accordance with the conditions determined therein. These applications and documentation will be presented to the Vielha e Mijaran City Council and by the means established in article 88.4 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations. Despite what is indicated, subsidies may be granted outside this period as long as objective circumstances recommend urgent resolution. Resolution period and notifications The Vielha e Mijaran City Council will proceed to notify the resolution of the granting or denial of subsidies to each of the requesting persons and/or entities within a maximum period of three months. Without prejudice to this, the list of subsidies that have been granted will be published in the BOP of Lérida, which will also be advertised on the town hall notice board. Application evaluation criteria Those indicated in base 8 of the specific regulatory bases of the call, approved by the Local Government Board on March 26, 2025 and published in the BOP of Lérida No. 68 dated April 8, 2024. Resource regime The resolution of granting or denying subsidies will put an end to the administrative procedure and, against this, an optional appeal may be filed for reconsideration or contentious-administrative appeal before the Superior Court of Justice of Catalonia. The granting of a subsidy will not give the right to its extension or renewal beyond the period established in the general bases. These grants do not imply in any way the establishment of an administrative or employment relationship between the beneficiaries or the Vielha e Mijaran City Council.
