Official description of the call
Having regard to the "Bases by which the municipal management of non-periodic individual aid for social emergencies and those intended for the elderly and people with disabilities is regulated", approved by the Plenary Session of this Corporation, in an extraordinary session held on April 11, 2018 and published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife No. 72, dated June 15, 2018. Having regard to the report issued by the Municipal Secretariat, dated May 9, 2025, in relation to the applicable legislation and the procedure to follow to call for and grant the aid that is the subject of the aforementioned bases. Considering the report issued by the Municipal Intervention, dated May 9, 2025, which certifies the existence of adequate and sufficient credit for the authorization of the corresponding expense. In exercise of the competence attributed to this Mayor's Office-Presidency by article 10.4 of the Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies and 21.1 s) of Law 7/1985, of April 2, Regulating the Bases of the Local Regime, in its new wording given by Law 57/2003, of December 16, on measures for the modernization of Local Government; I hereby RESOLVE: FIRST. Make a call for the granting of Individual Aid for older people and people with disabilities, with the text that appears in the Annex to this resolution. SECOND. Publish the aforementioned call in the National Subsidies Database (BDNS), in the Official Gazette of the Province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, in the municipal Electronic Headquarters and in the Edict Board of this City Council. ANNEX CALL FOR THE GRANTING OF SUBSIDIES IN THE FIELD OF INDIVIDUAL AID INTENDED FOR ELDERLY PEOPLE AND PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES, YEAR 20251.- Regulatory Bases. The regulatory bases for the granting of these subsidies are contained in the “Bases that regulate the municipal management of non-periodic individual social emergency aid and those intended for elderly people and people with disabilities”, whose approval definitive was published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife No. 72, dated June 15, 2018.2.- Budgetary Credits. The budgetary allocation for Individual Aid for older people and people with disabilities amounts to a total amount of 15,000.00 euros; charged to the budgetary application of expenses 2310.48002, called “Aid for the elderly and disabled/Primary social assistance”, of the current General Municipal Budget for the year 2025. 3.- Definition, Nature and Types. These aids are defined as those aimed at addressing the state, situation of need or fact in which the recipient is or is suffering, as a consequence of his or her age or disability, and that affects his or her autonomy. personal, social and economic, in order to achieve their normal human and social development. a) The following actions for the elderly may be the object of aid: -Elimination of physical barriers and/or functional adaptation of the home. -Acquisition and renewal of tools that mitigate household chores and acquisition of clothing and belongings. -Acquisition or renewal of orthoprosthetic material. -Rehabilitation aid that promotes personal autonomy, permanence at home and coexistence in their usual living environment (psychomotor, cognitive and/or sensory stimulation; psychotherapeutic treatment and therapeutic animation indicated from socio-health intervention areas). -Transportation expenses to attend specialized centers and services that involve prevention of dependency and promotion of personal autonomy, both for the user and, if essential, for the companion. Temporary accommodation for Family Respite: as a reinforcement in the care of elderly people who are being cared for at home and as a result of a crisis situation in the family or as a prevention thereof, this resource is required. needs in personal or domestic areas such as: personal development, creation of habits for basic life activities
