Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries. Companies, regardless of their legal form and size, that are validly incorporated at the time of submission of the application, are holders of an economic activity in Cantabria, and carry out an activity in Cantabria in the manufacturing industry or in industry support services, in addition to complying with the rest of the requirements established in the call and in the corresponding order, may have the status of beneficiary person. Second. Object. The purpose of this call for Large Projects to Improve Industrial Competitiveness is, on the one hand, to encourage innovation in the business environment by supporting industrial research and experimental development projects of an individual nature whose final objective is new products, processes and/or services that improve their competitiveness and, on the other hand, to promote the development of energy efficiency projects, through which the implementation of more energy efficient production systems is promoted that allow the reduction of energy consumption in industrial processes, with respect to the situation of departure. Third. Regulatory bases. Amount. The intensity of aid will be: a) In line I: R&D action plan: 25% of eligible costs. b) In line II: Energy action plan: 30% of eligible costs. A maximum aid is established of: a) In line I: R&D action plan: €1,000,000 per application. b) In line II: Energy action plan: €2,0000,000 per application. Fifth. Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will be one (1) month from the day following the publication of the extract of the call in the Official Gazette of Cantabria. Sixth. Other data. - Public companies/entities are expressly excluded from this aid. - Execution period: between twelve (12) and eighteen (18) months from the start date of the project. - Only one project per applicant company may be submitted for each of the lines of each call. - Projects must be of experimental development or energy efficiency, of an individual nature, have an eligible budget greater than €1,000,000 in Line I and greater than €750,000 on Line II.
