Official description of the call
On May 22, 2025, the local Government Board of the Borges Blanques City Council has agreed to approve the call for the granting of subsidies to non-professional athletes for participation in Spanish, European, World and Olympic Championships, annual 2025. In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, general subsidies, publishes the extract of the call, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans). First.- Regulatory bases The specific bases for the granting of subsidies to non-professional athletes for participation in Spanish, European, World and Olympic Championships were initially approved by the Plenary Session of the City Council on May 26, 2022 and were definitively approved on July 14, 2022. Its full publication is found in the BOP of Lleida number 134 dated July 14, 2022 and in the City Council website. Second.- Purpose This call aims to regulate the procedure for granting subsidies, on a non-competitive basis, to those federated athletes of Les Borges Blanques who participate in Spanish, European or World championships during the year 2025, in any sporting modality. Third.- Amount The financial endowment of the call is 3,000.00 euros and will be the responsibility of the budget application 341 48079 of the statement of expenses of the budget for the year 2025. The amounts to be received by the beneficiaries will be established according to the following scale, until the credit provided for by this call is exhausted: - Spanish, European or World Championships held in Spanish territory: 300.00 euros. - European Championships held outside Spanish territory: 400.00 euros. - World championships held outside Spanish territory: 500.00 euros. Championships held within Catalan territory or less than 250 kilometers from Les Borges Blanques will not be subsidized. In the case of European or World Championships held in the Canary Islands, they will be considered held outside Spanish territory. Fourth.- Beneficiaries The status of beneficiaries of this subsidy will be the federated non-professional athletes, registered in the municipality of Les Borges Blanques who, after qualification, participate individually in Spanish, European or World championships, in any sporting modality. Fifth.- Deadline for submitting applications The deadline for submitting applications will begin the day after the publication of this call in the BOP of Lleida and will end on November 30, 2025. Sixth.- Bodies competent for investigation and resolution The investigation of the procedure will be carried out by the Intervention Services, which will issue a reasoned report on the assessment and suitability of the applications submitted. In view of the report issued by the Intervention Services, the Local Government Board will decide on the origin of the granting of subsidies. Seventh.- Other information a. Eligible expenses Expenses that undoubtedly respond to the nature of the subsidized activity, in accordance with that provided for in the Fourth Base, will be eligible. b. Form and place of submission of applications Applications will be addressed in a standard instance to the Hon. Mr. Mayor of the City Council of les Borges Blanques and may be presented by any of the means allowed in current legislation. Only two applications per beneficiary will be accepted. c. Application documentation The documentation to be attached to the application instance is specified in Base Ten. d. Resolution and notification period The maximum period to resolve and notify the resolution will be one month from the submission of the application. and. Deadline for execution and justification of eligible actions Participation in the corresponding championship must take place during the year 2025. Participations in championships carried out prior to the publication of this call will be accepted, provided that they have taken place on or after January 1, 2025.
