Official description of the call
First.- Recipients. The owners of bottom trawl vessels in the national fishing grounds of the Mediterranean, who meet the requirements established in article 4 of the order of regulatory bases for these aids, may be beneficiaries of this aid. Second.- Object. The purpose of the order is to call for aid for the acquisition of codends, whose characteristics comply with the provisions of Article 1 of this Order, in order to improve the selectivity of the maritime fishing vessels included in the census by type of bottom trawling of the Mediterranean fishing grounds for the coastal and deep-sea fisheries. In accordance with article 2 of the regulatory bases order, this aid will be granted on a competitive basis and will be subject to the de minimis regime. Third.- Regulatory bases. Order APA/558/2025, of May 27, which establishes the regulatory bases for aid for the acquisition of codends to improve selectivity in bottom trawl vessels in the Mediterranean fishing grounds for coastal and deep-sea fisheries for the year 2025. Fourth.- Financing, amount and calculation of the aid. The financing of this aid will be carried out under budget application 21.11.415B.773 of the General State Budgets for 2025 assigned to the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, with an allocation of 1,612,000 euros. The calculation of the aid will be carried out in the manner provided for in article 8 of the regulatory bases, considering the limits and eligible expenses established in that same article. These aids will be compatible with the receipt of other subsidies, aid, income or resources for the same purpose, provided that, as a whole, they do not exceed 100% of the eligible costs, in accordance with the provisions of article 7 of the regulatory bases. Fifth.- Deadline for submission and applications. The deadline for submitting applications will be 15 business days from the day following the publication of this extract in the "Official State Gazette." The submission of applications will be carried out through the specific procedure that is available at the associated electronic headquarters of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food https://sede.mapa.gob.es/. Sixth.- Evaluation of applications and evaluation commission The evaluation commission in charge of evaluating compliance with the requirements will comply with the provisions of article 11 of the Order. Applications will be evaluated based on compliance with the requirements of articles 1, 3, 4 and 5 of the Order, referring to the purposes for which the aid is intended, the beneficiaries, their requirements and obligations, as well as compliance with the deadlines regarding the entry of applications in accordance with the provisions of section 1 of the seventh point of the call. Seventh.- Justification, payment and reimbursement The deadline for submitting the documentation related to the justification will be ten business days, counting from the day following the publication of the granting resolution. Said documentation will be presented through the specific procedure that is available at the associated electronic headquarters of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food https://sede.mapa.gob.es/. The justification will comply with the provisions of article 14 of the regulatory bases as well as the eleventh section of the call.
