Official description of the call
First.- Beneficiaries. Companies with their own legal personality may be beneficiaries of this aid, which are validly incorporated at the time of submission of the aid application, are not disqualified from obtaining public subsidies, have a work center in Asturias in which they carry out their activity and present a project to be developed in the Principality of Asturias. They must be small unlisted companies, have one or more employees or partners of the company whose relationship can be classified as employment and present a project that aims to launch or develop and grow an EBT in the Principality of Asturias, understanding as such those companies whose activity focuses on the exploitation of products or services that require the use of technologies or knowledge developed from research activity, basing their business strategy or activity on the development of technology through intensive mastery. of scientific and technical knowledge, and that meet the conditions established in the resolution that approves the call, excluding individual/self-employed entrepreneurs, companies in crisis, communities of goods and civil societies, as well as associations, foundations and, in general, non-profit entities. Second.- Object. The purpose of the call is to grant subsidies on a competitive basis to promote the start-up and development of EBT in the Principality of Asturias, so that research and technological development projects can become a business reality that provides added value to the business fabric of the region. The program supports the development of 2 types of poryecos depending on their purpose, so the projects must fit well into Phase I - Creation and implementation of an EBT or Phase II - Development and Growth of the EBT. Third.- Regulatory bases. Resolution of July 2, 2024, of the Ministry of Science, Business, Training and Employment, approving the regulatory bases for the granting of subsidies by the Asturian Science, Business Competitiveness and Innovation Agency, SEKUENS, for activities related to the promotion and promotion of R&D&i in the Principality of Asturias under a competitive competition regime approved by (BOPA No. 134 of 10-VII-2024) Fourth.- Amount. The maximum total amount authorized to finance this call for aid in the year 2025 will be ONE MILLION FOUR HUNDRED THOUSAND EUROS (€1,400,000.00), charged to the Agency's budget, amount authorized by Resolution of the President of the entity dated April 10, 2025. Of this amount, ONE MILLION TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND EUROS is allocated (€1,200,000.00) to Phase I and TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND EUROS (€200,000.00) to Phase II. The financing comes from the Agency's own budget, and aid may be co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). Fifth.- Application submission deadline. From the calendar day following the publication of this extract in the Official Gazette of the Principality of Asturias, until 2:00 p.m. on September 23, 2025, peninsular time in Spain.
