Official description of the call
BDNS (ID): 839094 First. Beneficiaries. 1. Persons who meet the following requirements may be beneficiaries of the scholarship provided for in this Resolution: a) Be Spanish or a national of a Member State of the European Union, or a national of any State to which, by virtue of the International Treaties concluded by the European Union and ratified by Spain, the free movement of people applies. b) Possess functional capacity to carry out the tasks that imply acceptance of the scholarship. c) Be registered in any of the municipalities of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria on the end date of the application submission period. d) Be in possession of any of the following degrees, and no more than five years have passed since obtaining the degree and the end date of the application submission period for the call: University degrees: social education, social work, teaching, pedagogy, communication or journalism, or any degree equivalent to the previous ones included in the branch of social sciences. Higher Technician in sociocultural animation (TASOC) or higher technician in sociocultural and tourist animation. The degrees presented by applicants must be officially recognized and valid in Spain. e) Not having been a beneficiary of any other training scholarship or aid of a similar nature in the Administration of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria for two or more years. Those people who have enjoyed another training scholarship/s in the Administration of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria may access the status of beneficiary until completing the maximum period of two years, in accordance with the provisions of the third additional provision of the Law of Cantabria 02/2024, of December 23, on General Budgets of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria for the year 2025. Second. Object. The purpose of this Resolution is to convene, on a competitive basis and in accordance with the principles of objectivity and publicity, a scholarship for practical training in leisure and free time, to be developed in the General Directorate of Youth, Development Cooperation and Volunteering. Third. Regulatory bases. Order ECD/24/2017, of March 6, which establishes the regulatory bases for the granting of scholarships for practical training in leisure and free time (BOC no. 50, of March 13, 2017), modified by Order UIC/47/2021, of December 30 (BOC no. 5 of January 10, 2022). Room. Amount. The amount of the scholarship will be eight hundred euros gross per month (€800), which will be paid in arrears following a report from the tutor proving effective attendance. The corresponding withholdings of the Personal Income Tax and the contributions corresponding to the General Social Security Regime will be made from the amount of the scholarship, in accordance with current regulations. Fifth. Deadline for submission of applications Ten business days from the day following the publication of this extract of the call in the Official Gazette of Cantabria. Sixth. Other information 1. The selection of the scholarship recipient will be carried out according to the following phases: First phase: academic and professional merits (up to a maximum of 22 points) Second phase: personal interview (maximum 6 points) 2. The scholarship will begin on the day the scholarship holder joins, not before August 1, 2025, and will last for one year, without prejudice to its early termination if the scholarship recipient reaches the maximum time of two years legally provided for the enjoyment of training scholarships in the Administration of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria. 3. Exceptionally, the scholarship may be extended for a maximum period of one year.
