Aid for the intensive introductory swimming course for PRIMÀRIA students of Alzira enrolled in the 2024-2025 academic year

Official description of the call

First. Purpose: The purpose of this aid is to cover the cost of the introductory swimming course for primary school boys and girls who do not know how to swim for families registered in Alzira with sons/daughters enrolled in the educational centers of Alzira, with few resources. Second. Beneficiaries: A family that meets the following requirements may apply for this aid before the deadline for submitting applications for this call: - Be enrolled in primary school in the 2024-2025 academic year at an educational center in the municipality of Alzira. Reasonably, a student who does not meet this requirement may be included for reasons of affiliation (accompanying a cohabitant), pedagogical needs, or other similar needs. - That both the student and his/her parents or legal guardians are registered in Alzira, at the time of the call for these aids. In the event of separation or divorce, this requirement will only be required by the father or mother who has custody. - That parents or legal guardians receive one of the following benefits to prove the absence of sufficient resources: o Minimum vital income. o Valencian inclusion income. o School cafeteria scholarship from the Alzira City Council. - That the parents or legal guardians are not subject to any of the circumstances included in article 13.2 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies. - That the parents or legal guardians are up to date with their tax and Social Security obligations, which will be accredited through the corresponding certificates from the State Tax Administration Agency and the Social Security Treasury. However, given that the amount of the subsidy will not exceed 3,000 euros, the responsible declaration of being up to date with their tax and Social Security obligations will be sufficient for these purposes. Third. Regulatory bases: The Plenary Session of the Alzira City Council, in the session held on January 29, 2020, has definitively approved the General Subsidies Ordinance of the Alzira City Council, which contains the regulatory bases of the procedure for the granting of subsidies by this City Council, and the full text of the same has been published in the Official Gazette of the province of Valencia No. 29, dated February 12, 2020. Fourth. Deadline for submitting applications: The deadline for submitting applications will be from the day following the publication of this extract of the call in the BOP until June 30, 2025. Fifth.- Maximum total amount of the subsidies called: The aid granted will be within the budget limits charged to the budget application 3261 48102 “Aid for students without resources”, of the corresponding budget year, will be compatible with other non-municipal subsidies or aid. The maximum total amount to pay for the activity will be 900 euros. The aid that will be granted to each applicant will be the payment of the registration fee for the introductory swimming course, under the terms of the agreement of the Local Government Board that authorizes them (expt. 3999/2025 Municipal Pool Intensive Courses July 2025). If there are more applicants than the existing credit, it may be increased to the same additional amount after sufficient credit has been granted. If there are still more applicants, the criterion of the lowest income in any of the three criteria used to prove the absence of resources will be applied. Sixth.- Documentation: Interested persons must present the completed and signed form at the offices of the indoor pool, C/ Verge de la Murta s/n within the registration period, under the terms of the agreement of the Local Government Board that authorizes them (expt. 3999/2025 Intensius Courses Piscina Municipal July 2025), marking the box on the model: (1) For minors in PRIMARY education who DO NOT know how to SWIM (blanquets) from family units registered with ALZIRA, who are receiving, at the time of the application, one of the following benefits (minimum vital income; Valencian inclusion income; scholarships for dining rooms for the 2024/25 academic year from the Alzira City Council), the fee will be paid by the Alzira City Council.
