Extract from the call: By Resolution No. CGC/2025/7222, of July 2, 2025, of the Counselor of the Primary Sector, Food Sovereignty and Water Security, the “CALL FOR GRANTS FOR THE YEAR 2025 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE PRIMARY SECTOR, FOOD SOVEREIGNTY AND WATER SECURITY OF THE GRAN CANARIA COUNCIL TO THE FARM-SCHOOLS.” Against the aforementioned resolution, as established in article 123.1 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations, an optional appeal for reconsideration may be filed before the same body that issued it, within a period of one month from the day following the publication of the extract thereof in the Official Gazette of the Province of Las Palmas. Likewise, the aforementioned resolution may also be directly challenged by filing a contentious-administrative appeal before the Contentious-Administrative Court of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, within a period of two months counted in the same way, in accordance with the provisions of article 46.1 of Law 29/1998, of July 13, regulating the Contentious-Administrative Jurisdiction. Recipient: Gran Canaria Farm-Schools that organize at least 20 eligible visits for groups of schoolchildren from centers on the island during the year 2025, in which the requirements of article 2 of the call are met, may be beneficiaries of the subsidies regulated in this call. Object: The object of this call is to encourage the activity carried out by the school farms of Gran Canaria and their maintenance as such, thus supporting their valuable contribution to knowledge and valorization, aimed at the new generations of Canary Islands, of the tasks inherent to the island's primary agricultural sector and the ecological, sustainable and local products they generate.Ç Regulatory Bases: General Ordinance of Subsidies of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria. Amount: 45,000.00 euros. Deadline for submitting applications: FIFTEEN (15) BUSINESS DAYS, counted from the day following the day on which the extract of this call is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Las Palmas.
